I agree with your conclusion, he did the same thing to me when I asked him on Cameo, plus he had a tweet about tickling once, which he then deleted, that read:

“@alexanderludwig: The only correct answer to "are you ticklish?" is " i will kill you"”

Jonas Kaufmann (Star-Tenor/opera singer) is ticklish! After years of speculations about Kaufmann's ticklishness (a hot topic on fan forums), he finally admitted to being very suspetible to tickling and even hinted at his most ticklish spot! This is from an interview with German magazine Welt:

Gethin Jones (Welsh TV presenter) has ridiculously ticklish feet! While we've seen Gethin's feet tickled before (once on Blue Peter, once backstage on a BBC radio show, both currently unavailable), we've never seen Gethin's feet THIS ticklish!
