um ... since we email back and forth sometimes, and since I have heard that sultry voice once when I tried to call her with some good news back in July of '04, but only got her voicemail (message delivered!), and since she is really the only one that I have conversed with here outside of the forum, I can only name one ... the one and only ... Steph ... !!

I'm sure there are many more interesting peeps here I'd like to meet, after getting to know them, and them me.

ticklkitten and isabeau dont even give it a second thought. It absoultely normal and even expected for people to want to be popular. Be thought of as an object of desire and someone that people want to meet. Its perfectly normal and honestly I see nothing wrong with wanting to be popular with such a great group of people like we have here in the TMF. Not that I want to be...we all know my M.O. Im just a non-PC barbarian that likes to ramble from time to time, make some sense and make people laugh. Thats it.
As for popularity...its nice, but for me not necessary..Ive met a lot of great people here, have some great conversations but as long as Im #1 to my wife and my 2 wonderful kids, then little else to me matters!

But I love you both anyways!! All of you are tops in my book.

The ones I REALLY want to meet(you know who you are) and as far as the fems go in that catagory, Tickle you into insanity and I and now I can say WE since I have my love shygal in my life, want to meet and tickle You all into insanity and vise versa!

I think something like this takes on less of a "popularity" tone when it is about a Top 5 or something like that. Once you start making long lists, comparisons are bound to be made. I think it's important to note the obvious:

Those of us who are here for thier sense of community are by nature going to want to meet as many others as they can. When you keep a list to five, you're pretty much narrowing it down to the people you've interacted with who think along the same lines as you. Natural selection, personality gravitation, lemming syndrome...whatever. So, I don't think tagging it a 'popularity contest" is accurate.

What I find interesting is seeing who it is that would like to meet who. It gives an insight into the type of people around, and that's kinda my thing, so it's cool.

My entire point about venrays list is that I forgot to mention so many awesome incredible people I've already met! For example: Danimal!!! OMG! He who just picks mummified me up so they can add a few more layers... and has NEVER judged me. What a great guy...

But Dave has a point... by avoiding long lists you are listing those not that you just wish to touch in a ticklish manner but those you think you could really be friends with. I guess I'm always so caught up in worrying about the "kitten haters" out there. I should relax.

In 2001, I used the probably last long distance trip in my life to meet some of the most fascinating TMF members (in no particular order): MTP Jeff, Morandilas, TeeHeeLawrence, Mistress Mia and SuperTickler.

To mention just five other people I'd like to meet would be highly unfair to all the rest. I've had so many friendly and interesting discussions with so many people, and I'd like to meet all of them. Instead, I'd just like to thank all of them for being here.

On the other hand, I could easily restrict my list of people I definitely don't want to meet to five names. But to mention them would violate the Golden Rule, so I better shut up... 😛
