Tower of Gargalesis (Tickling RPG M/F, F/F, F/M)

Well, my computer got all messed up and I had to reinstall my OS. Most of my stuff was saved, but sadly not the game :'( So I come posing two questions.

1: On what page of this thread was the last update posted? Dont wanna get an outdated version.

2: Any suggestions on what character to make? I get to start over completely, so Im wondering what everyone thinks is the best character type?

Sorry to hear about your computer. At least you had most of what you had on there saved.

1 - First page. Deus was good about keeping the most up-to-date on there.

2. It's really up to you.

Mage and Slayer are heavy hitters and can really use the enemy's weakness(es) to the fullest, but can't take many hits themselves and from what I've experienced are the hardest difficulty classes.

Thieves and Rangers have ways to mess with/adapt to enemies and have a few really unique things about them and can survive better than the Mage or the Slayer at the cost of not doing as much damage.

Adventurers I haven't played since they originally were the only ones with Surrender, but as the first post says they're balanced in gameplay and difficulty.

And then you have the Soldier who I haven't played at all that is tanky. From what I remember, they used to be nearly godlike and unbeatable before Deus nerfed them down to more challenging levels.

Honestly I can't just tell you to pick one class since dialogue and some events change based on if you're male/female and what class you have. However, if I had to recommend any class, I'd continue to say Mage because she is the hottest to me (red eyes + silver hair = :wub), and I'm a lover of foot tickling (her weakest spot). Really fun class, though sometimes hair-pullingly impossible fights. You also really love Spaz if you play a Mage(Slayer too sortof) because you get the most benefit from her.

where are the enemies 4 the chapter 3 challenges like tha giggle bunny u have to b tied up 4 elite gigg goblin and the individual fairies? also how the hell do i solve the puzzle in tha snow area i was on it 4 like 2 hrs last night b4 i gave up

Like Anime said, it's pretty much personal preference. They'll have their weak spots listed, so i'd say go with your favorite. It'll decide what scene you get when you fail (and you will want to) the bar game.

My favorite is thief. Her weak spot is belly, but that includes bellybutton, which is my favorite place. Also, she has the only bellybutton tickling skill in the game, so far. Plus, she belly dances too.

Best character type? Well, I'd just pick your favorite tickle spot. I roll with a thief and love her. But different strokes for different strokes. Pick a ranger if you like underarms, mage if you like feet, etc.

As for gameplay, Slayer is probably the easiest, and Mage gets to use spells. Thief gets unique items and armor that really help out. Soldier has honestly been a little boring recently. The battles are long since she's kind of a turtle. I'd only go with her if thighs are your fav spot. Ranger supposedly has some cool abilities, too, but I haven't used one.

Are you talking about the orb challenges? The Giggle Bunny is located in the prison you were put in when you first went to town. I believe the Giggle Goblin is a rock-paper-scissors game and she is in the forest. I also believe the faeries are in the forest, but I'm not 100% sure on that since it's been a little while.

As to the snow maiden's puzzle, it's all about pushing the boulders into the slots. Watch how they roll. There are immovable objects around the map that stop the boulders from rolling. Use those to position the rocks properly to hit the goal spots.

That's right about the Giggle Goblin. The fair you have to look for and give something to them to save time. The Bunny you have to try and trick them so that they give up...otherwise you're tickled to death, and the Mushroom...the spore are spread on your body and you have to find all the herb before the spores succumbs to you and make you too weak to go any further...consider that a time limit without showing the time. So you have to be quick.

i went to the prison to find the bunny cant find her i know i found her earlier on in tha game in there cant remember what for think it was part of tha talisman quest these are th chapter 3 challenges btw are the shrooms in forest hidden items where u hv to press z in a certain area? th only fairies i find are the ones u randomly fight and wheres th rock paper scissor thingy 4 the elite gigg gob is it in town? i swear the games trollin me now oh and these are th challenges after u escape th spider ,mamoto in lvl 2 of tower

Doh! FT is right. I got the two Giggle Bunny quests confused. Though I'm not sure how you're having problems finding the Giggle Bunny quest for the orb...I thought as soon as you start it, you go into the event. Maybe FT can correct me on that one too since it's been a little while.

You have to search for the Giggle Goblin in the forest. You'll see the lone, pink haired goblin in there and you walk up and talk to her to start the fight. That is the rock-paper-scissors where you have options to choose and you combat her "Giggle Goblin Wrestling Style" :stickout

The faeries should appear randomly throughout the forest, just like the Giggle Goblin. Walking up and talking to them, I believe they'll ask for Fruit of Knismesis. So fight the random battle faeries and hope for a drop or buy the fruits in the bar game.

As for the mushrooms, you'll get sprayed as soon as you start the quest. You then have a time limit to run around and get all these root-looking objects on the ground. I forget how many...6 - 8 I think. This will be the hardest challenge because you need to memorize each location (You will lose a lot on this one - learn from each place; each area in the forest has at least 1 in it). that contains the curing roots.
You'll notice them on the ground, and it's just running up and pressing Z. Words of advice: SKIP THE TEXT! As soon as you grab one of them, your character will have a short dialogue. Press Z or whatever ASAP and try and get those text boxes gone as soon as you can, because time still runs while you're reading! Always keep running, or you'll lose.

Giggle Bunnies: Yes you will in an event...the screen will be pitch black so you can't see anything. The Text will (I believe) tell you where the bunny is tickling and you have to be sure that you chose the right reaction to frustrate the bunnies. Note: If you're tummy is being tickled, chose something they're not close at. /Warning: depending a spot the bunny will pick you might need to think carefully.

Goblin: She's too hard to beat head on...so yes it will be like rock-papper-scissor. You don't know what will happen when you pick it, so you need to think carefully and maybe have some luck. Don't lose faith and yes you and the Goblin will have a even amount of health.

Fairy: The clock will begin to tick and you have to find all the fairies and at least feed them with a fruit they like. It's faster that way. I don't remember fully about it...but I recommend not to fight them....for I doubt you have enough time for them.

Mushroom: I don't have to say anything about it because Animewater got it right all the way.

All those orbs events that you'll be doing to earn them will be in the same forest you are in...so there's no need for you to try and leave (for if there was a time limit, you'll be wasting your time)

EDIT: I remember that after you save the little girl's mother, she will be found in the other side of the town (no need to exit...just stick to the right). She will mention about a bunny wanting to play Hide and Seek. When that happen, go to the prison you were in at the beginning of the game and there's a chance you'll find what you're looking for.

EDIT 2: If by any chance none of those help...I do apologize for it. That's as much as I know.

Sorry if this has been posted before, but what are the exclusives for Dance with the Devil mode and how do you access them?

Dance with the Devil Mode has a few exclusives to it:

An optional storyline that you won't have access to if you played on Normal mode, with the special, difficult boss encountered throughout named Calypso. This questline so far gives some nice rewards too, like free skill points.

(Supposedly) The only way to have access to and see the True Ending(s) to the game if you go down that path.

Difficulty on all enemies and bosses is significantly higher. (Spaz also scales better to compensate a little).

The removal of the White Feather - you can only get this god item if you play Normal Mode, which turns the game into Easy Mode if you choose battle with it.

The only way to fight Mammona's second form after defeating her. It should go without saying this is a harder battle than her first form. If you play on Normal Mode, you can see her glitch and catch a glimpse of her second form as she is defeated.

I believe that's it so far.

ugh i h8 to constantly ask for help like this but where th hell is th red feather? i talked to honey bee and searched tha tower levels 1 and 2 and cant find it

If you've gotten all the way to the end and finished the Lover of the Snow Maiden, as soon as you end chapter 3 it should automatically be placed in your inventory.

Don't worry about asking too much. It gives us something to do, keeps this thread bumped up so other people can discover and play the game, and it shows Deus we still care about it haha.

ive done th snow maiden quest where she gives u th old hairbrush and i checked my inv red feather isnt there

ignore prev comment turns out i just started snow maiden lover and i have no clue how to solve th puzzle on th ice area i push the people statue things on the circles but nothin happens

It's a pretty good idea to have them in the circle...but the people have to be in a right spot for the puzzle to be complete. And if you think that's hard, you haven't seen nothing yet.

Reason why the people are suppose to be pushed in a right spot is because each time you solve a puzzle, the story will occur and it matches to what you see.

i dont understand th ice puzzle its annoyin how its unclear what ur supposed to do as when theyre on the circles nothin happens

The people are meant to be "actors". A part of a play, telling a story untold. But actors must interact with each other, yes?

In other words, the people need to be looking at each other. Position them in a way that looks right, and read the story that comes with the finished puzzle to get clues as to how to position the next one. Look at the characters carefully to identify their roles.

well time to try and find th entance to 3rd level even tho i searched around th whole level 2 and found nothin but some useless chests is it th thing in th middle of lvl 2 the entrance where the spider mammo was?

There is no 3rd level of the tower. Once you finish Chapter 3, that's the end of the game currently. Until Deus comes back and updates the game, you've "completed" it.

i dont understand th ice puzzle its annoyin how its unclear what ur supposed to do as when theyre on the circles nothin happens

lol maybe...but the only thing I can say is patient is the key to success. I'm not perfect, but it's pretty surprising that I was able to solve the puzzle without too much trouble.

How do you get the calypso quest? I've gotten to Mammona and haven't encountered her.

DwtD will still be hard, even if you put all 1's. You'll still have your weakest spot, and the enemies will still be significantly stronger.

Now if you want ludicrous "OMG I'm freaking insane" difficulty, you max out your ticklishness in all areas so every hit is like hitting your weakness. Of course, only the most masochistic would play that since the game would be impossible to beat unless you stockpiled juices and chugged them every other turn - and even then it'd only negate 1/2 of what the enemy dealt so you'd just be delaying the inevitable.
