Tower of Gargalesis (Tickling RPG M/F, F/F, F/M)

Not being one to just take the standard sprites...and being a huge Cali fan...well, heres my files for my female archer!

All you have to do is put them into your graphics directory and replace the current files in both faces and characters.
Oh, change Actor3_faces to just Actor3 (upload wont let me keep the same names for 2 files in 1 post.)

This is a VERY ambitious project that has been masterfully executed. Honestly I have no idea how you find the time to work on this with all you have going on. Keep up the awesome work!

Actually, I'll make this optional. VERY cool idea, and I'd be more than willing to add support for any future possible community character additions (I'd appreciate creator permission).

The way it'll work, assuming ChesireCat doesn't have a problem with it, is that if your character is female and you name her "Cali" you'll get the appropriate cosmetic change.

(On a side note: 😉 I've done projects vastly more ambitious than this one [such as making a game out of a friend's 50+ chapter fanfic complete with custom sprites and music], I'm pretty well-versed in RPG Maker. My main problem seems to be debugging lol)

That is a lot of work! With all you have on your plate deus, kinda makes me feel slack about just working full time and going to school... Glad you like the idea though. of course getting permission to put it into the live game is always a good idea, hope CC doesn't mind that I posted this. I was also working on a Stipp sprite for a mage, as well as a Yenny sprite, but the Cali one was the first one done

Eh, I co-wrote it so it wasn't too hard translating to an RPG. The hardest part was keeping it balanced, there were 8 party members and it was hell keeping everything balanced (That said, one character was indisputably the strongest party member in the game, since he was canonically the strongest member of the team).

*Edit- Chapter 3 is done except for a few things here and there. I'm going to start adding side-quests (though I've only got one in mind at the moment thanks to a contributor), so that you won't get totally curbstomped by the boss.

LOl curb stomping, GoW 2 made that sooo satisfying... expect for the small difference on who was doing the stomping.

btw, i've been wondering. For bebe, she's weak to fire right? is that why we have fire flasks? How do they work?
 
You just use them like a potion or any other healing item - the only difference is that it won't work out of fight, as far as I know.~

It removes her ability to use Speed Boost, is the only "Ultra Effective" element against her, and gets you the bonus cutscene of her freaking out. And for three turns she loses 5% of her health every turn, while also reducing her Proficiency, Technique and Endurance down to 75% That of course, only works once, and only after she's used High Speed Flight. After that it's purely for the boosted damage it does to her.

The flasks only work in battle and were a way to allow the other classes access to the Mage's special tickle magic. Of course, it's really expensive and they will never be as strong as a mage using the same spell. Speaking of which, the Mage gets his/her next spell in a Chapter 3 sidequest.

*Edit- GAOJSADF These challenges are killing me lol, this one challenge has 19 possible scenarios subscribed to a single event alone. Try EVERYTHING, there are so many possible outcomes that I can't begin to list them all.

**Edit- FINALLY! The only thing left is to get the GO and V scenes for the boss, then the main chapter is ready for release. The only problem is that I don't have any sidequests ready, so while you'll be able to reach the boss, odds are you won't be able to beat her. Still, I'll work on those while waiting to get the GO and V scenes finished.

Even with no sidequests, wouldn't it still be alright so long as the boss scales with the player?

The boss starts at level 9, then proceeds to scale with the player. So you'd need to do grinding, and the second floor of the tower has no enemies save for the boss herself.

I've almost got a pretty cool quest finished. It should be a fun change of pace.

*It'll take plenty of time to even get to the boss fight, I'd recommend just waiting for me to add the next few sidequests. I've almost got one up, and I've got another that was submitted which is fully scripted. By the time I get the GO/V scenes, I'll probably have two or three quests done.

**Edit- 2 quests completed, one of my own creation and one that was submitted by a contributor. I'm thinking there will be three more quests in this chapter, but as soon as I have the GO/V scenes I'll release a Chapter 3 beta so you can break the chapter itself as you always do 😀

Btw, for people who're scared of grinding or who'd rather keep their char at a lower level until you can do the quests - how about just using a BETA character until quests are done. That's probably what I'll do.

>_> Assuming that it is...Cali is now part of the game. To play as Cali, simply choose Female, and then name your character Cali or CALI. You'll get a small scene, and your graphics will be replaced with the ones suggested in this thread.

Now if someone would like to suggest a specific build for Cali that isn't one of the pre-defined six classes, send me a PM with possible techniques (at least 5), stat builds (Stamina, Adrenaline, Proficiency, Endurance, Technique, Agility ratings on a scale of 1-100), or weaknesses (ticklish zones, varying from D [not very ticklish] to A [ultra-ticklish] and I'll make her a special class of her own with her own stats and all that. As of right now *read below I'm rambling*

As of right now, this has no effect on the gameplay other than a cosmetic change. But depending on if this is the only special character or not, I may include some bonus dialogue here and there.

*Edit- Woo! Went back through and redid all of the Mamano face graphics, they look 100x better now. Rather than a few being heavily pixilated, they're all very crisp and nice to look at. Now I just need to get my wife to make the background transparent and all will be right in the world.

Wow! I never thought it would be part of the actual game, much less with specific characteristics! I was just monkeying around with a mod kinda like with fallout or oblivion mods and wanted to share it (btw, was never able to make a tickling club in megatown in fallout...those damn animation just would never work right...grrrr). Anyways thanks so much CC! Im glad you approve! Cant wait for the next chapter!

*cough* Send me anything at all you think would work in the context of the game. I'm not opposed to putting more male characters in, and in fact would appreciate it, to spice things up a little. The biggest reason that the game is primarily */F is because the Monster Girl Encyclopedia is just that...a Monster GIRL Encyclopedia. So...feel free to send me anything (as long as it's okay with the artist in question).

I'm doing a test run-through atm, and have fixed a few minor issues here and there. Beta release will be coming shortly. I'll edit this post when it's ready, there is quite a bit to address. There will be 2 side-quests available upon the initial release, but I'm working on the other 3 as we speak. The sidequests in this chapter are a bit more involved (which should = a bit more fun) than those previous, I'm experimenting with more puzzles and such. So, that said, I'm hoping it will still take a while just to get up to the boss, since I put about two weeks solid effort into devising the four challenges you have to beat to get to the boss in the first place (okay I got lazy on one challenge, but other than that one).

There are also a ton of Easter Eggs and hidden scenes I'll be pointing out to those interested.

On a random note, I added a new option to the Giggle Goblin. Now you can view her stats whenever you talk to her. This should make it easier to see how she's scaling compared to you. I'll be adding in mini-games with her shortly (a Sub-Story involving the Giggle Goblin's adventures when she's not helping you, as well as a "Teach Your Goblin to Speak" mini-game which will result in tons of various tickling scenes as well as advancing your Goblin's communication skills).

*Edit- Hokai, so I've gone through and done a beta-run. I fixed a tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo*catches breath* ooooooooooon of errors that were complete bullshit on my end. It should run BEAUTIFULLY. The only thing that I don't know...is if the scene after the boss works <_< I um...can't beat her ANYWAY! You should be able to get to the boss just fine. I may have to tweak her difficulty...she's proving...frustrating.

That said, I just spent the last six hours debugging. It should be very smooth...but as always, you guys and girls find ways to break anything. The biggest issue is probably going to be typos. Lots of dialogue in this chapter. Lots. As in tons. As in, I'm a writer and avid player of Guitar Hero and this STILL gave me carpal tunnel.

That said SAVE OFTEN! SAVE BEFORE YOU DO ANY CHALLENGES! SAVE BEFORE FIGHTING ANY BOSS! OH MY GOD YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW, JUST SAVE EVERY TIME YOU SO MUCH AS SNEEZE. That's all. Thanks for playing.
