Tower of Gargalesis (Tickling RPG M/F, F/F, F/M)

So, you had to guess the order? How did anyone know which clues were the right ones?

actually I didn't use the hints what I did was create a text document and label all of the combinations that were possible (ie: top left, middle left, bottom left) and try each one out if it worked I put yes beside it if it didn't I put no this was long and tedious and after many failures I came to top right top left and middle bottom and to my surprise that was the combination 🙂

I can imagine that taking a while. lol

I remember using the painting on the wall and the poem as a reference.
I remember the sign giving a tip. Didn't know the map was any use.

The map gives VERY blatant information if you pay attention.

There are 3 shapes.

Only one has 3 sides.

You need to pull 3 switches.

3 sides + 3 switches = the triangle points to the correct switches.

You fight a Sphinx later whose only method of attack and taking damage is by telling you riddles, which you then have to correctly answer. The entire pyramid labyrinth leading up to her is also one giant puzzle. Good news is there are no random Mamono, bad news is there are only Yusei (Mummy) and Chou (Anubis and Sphinx) Mamono to be found.

i can't wait. it sounds like a fun game show.

the ramshackle house was to dark for me as well.
i didn't even see the bottom middle switch for quite some time,
so i thought that the decoy was one of the 7. after that
the backwards writing got me pulling the switches in reverse order.

of course without all of that, it would have been to easy.
-perhaps the decoy is what's causing all the fun.

Well, you're a smarter man than me. lol
Looking forward to trying more puzzles, have to think outside the box for this game.

Oh, and sorry, I didn't want to have to ask, but I've been stuck on the slug boss a few days. I checked back on previous discussion but couldn't find any method other than keep attacking, and she drains the mother faster than I can attack. Anyone have advice?

I think I found another bug. The skill Sweet Nectar that you can get from Honey Bee, you will not acquire this skill at all if you fight her after beating Paranoia. I am not sure if this is intentional or not, however I really do not want to beat Paranoia again just to grab this skill.

And since I just got Fairy Dust, it appears the full skill description got cut off. It says "Blow a cloud of fairy dust on the enemy to"
Lastly, I assume you haven't implemented the last fairy tickle magic yet since I received a message I mastered one but nothing new popped up in my skill list.

Deus, if you don't mind, could you clarify the classification of mamono? You describe 'Yusei' and 'Chou' (which I'm guessing from context is 'sub-boss' and 'boss'?), and recall a question on that in the bar game. I'm only marginally japanically inclined, and the nomenclature is escaping me. Is it any different/more complicated than what I think?

Do you have:

Gentle Wisp
Fairy Dust
Radiant Sensitivity
Magical Inversion
Mystic Well

If so, you have to find the last spell, which is currently the second most powerful technique in the game (after the Mage's Tickle Storm).

If you go to where you fight those fairies in the sailor quest, there should be a lone fairy remaining. Just keep talking to her and the quest opens up

THank, does she have the icon above her head or do I just spam enter? Also i'm lvl 12

Remember the slug is weak at her armpits, so exploit that to the fullest extent

I do, every turn. But with her regen, her draining the mother, and her blocking, I can't figure out how to beat her in time.

What class are you stork? Also if worse comes to worse you can always shell for some thunder flasks since I can say with experience that ice and fire aren't really effective

@Ticklewizard: She has no symbol over her head, so just keep talking until you get the quest

I'm a lvl 8 thief. Yeah, noticed fire didn't work. And the goblin can't hurt her at all.
Thunder idea sounds good if they're more effective. Don't have any in stock now but luckily I have a save file right outside the house. Thanks for the tip.

No problem stork, sometimes you need to do a little trial and error when it comes to magic. Other times you need to do some leveling *is currently 15 at the moment*

Yeah, I do have all the other spells already. Time to talk to every NPC in the game! ... How convenient that my first instinct was correct. I got the last spell, and you were not kidding when you said it's overpowered.

i think i'm having a possible bug/question with the fairy tickle magic as well.
i've found the 6th. but i don't have enough adrealine to use it.
whenever i use any of the other 5 spells , i get the (mastered... screen) every time.
will the xtra screens go away when i get to a higher level and can actually use the technique?

That should not be happening, one moment. Alright fixed it, it won't happen in later chapters. Quick note about the final tickle fairy spell: It is as strong now as it will ever be, it doesn't scale with your level.

So yeah, it's OP now, but it will even out later.

Can't wait to see those spells, but I am curious about the location of the honey spell >.>. Don't get me wrong I am glad I have the fairy cure spell, it's just something that I am curious about

The Honey spell is a one off thing. If you fought Honey Bee the second time and lost, then you can't get Sweet Nectar. It will only be learned if you beat her the first time you have your rematch. Looking at the code I can't see anything wrong with it, but I'll check it again tomorrow evening.

Oh, that'd explain a lot actually. I'll double check later tonight to make sure to save you some trouble.
