Tower of Gargalesis (Tickling RPG M/F, F/F, F/M)

Actually I graduated in May but I do Work full time in software sales. That said I appreciate the concerns and comments. I'm doing my best to balanc things better in the remake. Expect a pretty different experience in a few weeks. I'll be working on the game for a few hours tonight. Here's hoping I make substantial progress ( I should at least have the Mage finished and Soldier started).

Star, its the fairy that wanted a fruit. If you didn't help her, you can't finish that quest. You won't get the brush, but you can get the gloves in the first floor dungeon

I'd like to reiterate the idea of making a 'Tower of Galgalesis help thread" for all these comments, almost all of which are repeat questions. A help thread could deal with "how do I do X?" that us peons could handle, saving this thread for comments to and from Deus himself. I'd prevent excessive clutter, and no one would care if we gum up a secondary thread with our inane comments (that I have been guilty of as well).

Were you replying to me? And if you were when was I soppose to help her?

This has probably been asked serval times already, but I really am stuck.
I can't seem to find the Bunny Medallion at all. I had no problem finding the other three. Obviously I've either overlooked something or have GUBU'd it fantastically.
Lv13 Soldier, using V4.66.
I'm shooting for Lv14, just in case, but I don't think it's a level thing. Something be telling me (and my instincts have been known to be wrong) it has something to do with the house in the top right of the village that's always locked.
So, um, someone please tell me what I've missed...

The bunny is in the jail cell you start out in.

Thanks for the help Hellfire, but she's nowhere in sight.
This probably has been noticed before, but it's a bizarre graphical artifact: When you finish out "A sticky situation" and return to Carrie, her sprite stays in place and keeps flicking between looking left and right and the sparkle over her head never goes away, though the quest is marked as complete... Someone's been giving the poor child Espresso.

Doublepost, but kinda important

Okay, I found out what was going wrong after I decided to start over.
I GUBU'd and broke the game by not being observant... Or careful.
Chronologically, this is what happened:

I got out of the forest and went back to report to the Captain and get the next quest. Grand. I checked everywhere but didn't notice Carrie had a quest for me. So I just restocked and went for the Tower right away. After much levelling, I went back and noticed the quest marker and got the "A Sticky Situation" quest. Finished that out and Carrie starting acting as though she was on crack. Which means she never gave me the Quest she was supposed to, thereby breaking the game.

I found this out after starting over and checking back after every story point. Now I have all four medallions without even being told about them.. 😵

Hey I got those before too.

On a side note, where is the Giggle Goblin pet? I can't find her. She's suppose to be at the clearing where you appear right? I can find her at all.

The Giggle Goblin Pet's at the landing spot if you defeat the goblin leader (Goblin Raid Quest) and let her go instead of tickling her. She should be there once you go back to the village to report on your victory. There should be a * at the landing spot on the world map. That'll be the Giggle Goblin Pet. She's cute. Love her.
At least, that's how it works in the latest version (Beta 4.66).

You have to go back to an earlier save point if possible because you're supposed to complete that quest before the "stick situation" quest then check on Carrie to see if theres a sparkle if not then you need more reputation. I had the same problem before and I pretty much had to go waaaaaaay back and do everything again -_-

*pats* Poor you, I ensure you finding and fixing a bug like that may take much longer than playing through the WHOLE 3 chapters currently available to us. And it's much less fun, too.

But fear not, obviously you did your duty as a beta tester well, and it's good to be able to verify when the bug happens. 🙂

Anything useful you wanted to tell us with that post? If you're sour about the giggle goblin, there's rewards for people who take the evil path further down the road too, including a pet.

Alright... where am I suppose to help the tickle fairy so I can get the brush?

Oh and where's the "gloves" On floor 1? Or is floor one not the groundfloor?
Where is Mammona's weak spot? Or does she not have one?
Thing is I can't beat her cause she just spams the immobilizing spells. Like putting me under her power and shooting webs at my feet.

At the Tickle woods, north and then west all the way. If she's not there than you let her suffer at the start of the game, currently breaking "Where is the Cucko Egg?" for you. Deus already mentioned you'll have a second fairy to give the tiara too in later version.

Gloves? I don't know what you're talking about here. Floor 1 of the tower? Only thing of interest there is various potions in chests and the magic dealer guy. (Well, Belze of course, but ... )

I'm positive that by the time you post that question here you could've just tried all spots and noted which one is most vulnerable. a reload is not so bad, alt+f4 out and reopen it, takes like 5 seconds. 🙂

Anyway her worst spot are her underarms, followed by her belly. From memory, but I'm pretty positive.

Mammona is nasty, remember to use the crystal and you might want to use some knismesis fruit's for status recovery as well.

Are you talking about the "Old Brush"?
I think I got mine from the quest that involved the girl at the Ice Area... can't remember what it's called. In fact, I'm SURE of it. I've been rebuilding my new character so I haven't really progressed too far.

And for my own clarification: What gloves?

OK, secret treasure (ie, what gloves?): After the blue slime battle but before the Amazon, there are 3 chests behind bars. Step 1: SAVE! Step 2: Open the right door and open the treasure to get the gloves, which are one attack point lower than the cuckoo brush, but if you can't get that, its better than starting over/going all the way back. I'm sorry, but I don't remember which door its behind.

I do. Found it last night. It's the middle door. They're called "Sleek Gloves". Damn, and I thought they'd be something you could wear, like an accessory or something. Oh well, good to know at least.

Side Note: When I saw this "This is a placeholder and will be unavailable until BETA 5.00" I laughed. I had a mental image of the Giggle Goblin Pet saying that.
But when I got the same message in the Tower... It gave me something to look forward to ^^v

Could anyone please tell me how to get the grudge going again so i can face pixie over? i've done it before by accident after beating her but now no matter how many times i speak to the fairy queen. it will not go.

@hellfire:
The grudge eh? I was a little stuck there myself 'til now.
Basically, you need the Quest reward from the Snow Maiden quest. Equip that and go talk to the fairy where you fought her. If she doesn't start the quest, check your Apparel. Sometimes it reverts back to the original weapon (did for me, anyway). And re-equip it. Then talk to her again. She should start the quest now.

Thanks but what i mean is i already completed the grudge and before i was able to activate it again to get more rewards and such for beating the pixie. But i can't get it to activate again.

talking about "the grudge", i think, i did something wrong. for some reason, the fairy gave me three left-coin-parts. that isn't really a problem, but now i got three left coin-parts and one right part.
but the journal tell me to find the right part. even though, i allready got it.
is there anything broken?
i cannot say for sure, because i do not even know, to whom i shall give the parts.
