Tower of Gargalesis (Tickling RPG M/F, F/F, F/M)

I also have the most current version of the game as well. Out of curiousity would I need to beat bebe to reach the blue seal?

No. Theoretically you don't even have to enter the tower. The only condition for the second warp to work is to beat Calypso in the first fight.

Did you start the save you're using with an older version? Did you beat the first Calypso encounter on an old version? Have you tried doing it with a new save, started with the most recent version?

I haven't done it in a while, but there's no real reason why it shouldn't work...

got the latest version and still having problems. it won't let me in I am holding the red seal. is there something I need to do with it that I am missing, cause I still get the same message that the blue seal wont open

I'd like you to consider what I said above too, and maybe answer some of the questions. You don't have to interact with any object, at least to my knowledge.

So, the completely finished version only goes up to chapter 2 then? I hear talk of people playing much further ahead of me and it seems as though I can't go past Beezlebebe after beating her. You all must be playing a beta version of chapters to come? I am not certain because I haven't really read through past posts. If this is a stupid thing to ponder, please tell me heheh.

Lazy bum. 😛 The current version available to us non beta testers ends after Bebe. There's quite alot of sidequests that you might not have discovered yet tho.

I do have the red seal and I did get that I was missing something to do the next fight

Stupid Bee

Hey cay, thanx for the advice! I'm actually doing some damage now that I found the black feather. However, I was wondering if you could give me some tips on one more thing? Everytime I get close to beating her, she attacks my feet(the mage weakness) which does more damage than I have health! Is there something I can do? She does it everytime! My health potions are useless!

I'm still curious if you've tried with a save created with the newest version? like I said, unless there's something I'm missing there's no extra requirement for the second warp, you just have to have the first fight done. theoretically.

If she one hits you then I'm guessing you dont have any points put into the +50 stamina skill, outsider tree. That really helps alot with survivability. Also make sure you've bought the best armor available from the shop.

You're level 4 already right? HB's min level for the first fight is 3, so if you decide to level up to get more stamina, be prepared that HB will be stronger too. But given that you're equipped with the Black feather you should still bring her down in less than 5 turns or so.

I did make a new save with this version with a thief mainly because I screwed myself with the mage I created. Outside of that the only thing I can think of is when I needed to reinstall the game because when I put it into the recycle bin it was actually over 90 mb of data instead of being around 50

Alright, hate to repost a question from earlier, but I've searched up and down this thread using both the TT engine and Google, and can't find any instructions on how to get the black feather in the newly updated clearing. Is this gone now that the DEUS cheat is gone, or am I just missing it? Any help is greatly appreciated. My mage is getting thoroughly dominated, and I'm only a level 3, so I wouldn't think I could have messed up the skill tree that badly already. . .

Otherwise an AWESOME game that I cannot get enough of.

Reposted earlier directions by Deus:

-I have hidden, on Normal Difficulty Only, a spot where you can get the Black/White feather. It is in the Arrival Maze, but I won't tell you where. Here are some hints:

-> It is not at the end of a corridor.

-> It is not in a chest

-> You must stand on top of it and press the confirm key (Z or Enter)

-> It is between two things.

-> You cannot get to this spot during the Prologue.

Eh man...I have no idea. I guess the game folder getting bigger is just the savegames. As far as I know RPG maker VX games don't use cache or temporary files or anything like that, but I might be wrong on this.

This is more a "thank you for answering the question" post than anything else because like I already said (and I just double-checked again) it should work, so I really don't know what the problem is there.

I'll see if Deus answers sometime soon, if not I'll take the time and check for possibilities more intensively, but the trigger after first fight and the conditions for the second warp definetly look fine... Gotta leave for work soon now. D;

Chapter 3?

I've been slowly working through the game during my downtime for the past month or so and I finally beat Chapter 2. Im just curious as to when Chapter 3will be available. It's a great game, and Im really looking forward to the next segment.
Also, I have a quick question. I have the Goblin Chief helping me out, but im not sure how to make her stronger. Ive tried using her in combat, but shes too weak to handle the enemies Im going up against. Im level 13 and shes still at 0. Is there any other way of improving her?

DJ, talk to the people important to you. It makes a world of difference. Also, you're level 13?? You're gonna have a hell of a time going forward if you just sat around grinding after Bebe. DON'T OVERLEVEL IN THIS GAME! IT MAKES THINGS WORSE! Unless you've got a percentage healing spell on that mage, apple juice ain't gonna cut it against a L13 Mammona whenever Deus makes her newest incarnation. At the start of Chapter 3, level 7 is a maximum. Seriously.

To everyone who just wants to play the crap out of this game, I sympathize. It's awesome. But instead of killing yourself in the level game, why not make another player, another class, and get through the game so far that way? Each class has its own flavor and special scenes. Use your time wisely.

Awww. is there anything for the hard difficulty?

Oh and does this feather count as a cheat?

Sorry for this long period of dead time. Chapter 3 is getting quite a few new quests, one of which takes a surprising twist AND marks the return of a beloved character who hasn't had face time in a while.

Due to numerous personal issues (some vastly more serious than others) I'm moving a but slower lately. That said there will be a ton to keep you busy in chapter 3, including Calypso's latest incarnation and the return of Paranoia.

Be patient, please. I'm working to the best of my ability, which admittedly isn't a lot these days.

Kinda hoping it's Aello. ^^ Keep up the good work Deus.

With the waiting and hearing about the extras on Dwtd mode, I've decided to try it, despite never being able to beat the grudge on normal modes.
*kisses cross necklace* Wish me luck friends...
