1- This time I got no "tickle the brat / try to help her" option, Calypso gets defeated and then vanishes after the dialogue she has with the Outsider. Is that because I chose not to tickle her after the first fight or is it supposed to be like that?
2- About that black/white feather thingy... is it aviable on the DWTD mode or just in the normal difficulty?

1.) It's supposed to be like that.
2.) Not available on DwtD.

Just restarted with the newest update.....beat the giggle goblin chief (Spaz)..and found her in the new starting clearing. Unfortunately, there is no option to give her essence to level her. Did I miss a trigger that I dont remember? Or is there a certain part of the game to reach before you can start leveling her? I know it was no trouble the first time I played....and I vaguely remember finding out that you could level her sometime after I got her,but I dont know what activated it. Any advice/suggestions?

In the revamped version, you don't give her essence to raise her level. Deus changed the system, so now she levels when you talk to her after passing certain points in the story. Much better, if you ask me.

No, it's not possible to ascend further yet, at least for us non beta testers. Try discovering all the side quests available to you? 🙂

Anyhoo, just nailed Beelzebebe on DwtD. Just started playing around with the aspects - right now it seems more "nifty" than astonishingly useful, but I haven't done more than experiment with the goblin's abilities. If we actually partially inherit the monster's statlines, I for one am interested in taking the slug aspect and watching my enemy's attacks do minimum damage while I roll around in my digusting slime and mock their futility.

On another note, Triple A+ for the scene with Hathor at the campfire. I wasn't too interested in Honey Bee's scene. It carried the exact same theme as the first one (Outsider feels bad, Honeybee comforts her). Meanwhile, Hathor treats us to a side of her personality that we hadn't seen before: A motherly, nurturing side that shows she does in fact think about more than sex.

Pretty much. The Ranger aspects will be more helpful in my next update since it will have the states fixed. Your stats get shifted around to suit the Mamono better. Fairy Aspect nets you some Technique/Agility. Goblin gives you Proficiency, etc.

Chapter 3's gonna have at least 3 post-chapter scenes, depending on my mood. I may up it to four, because I'm crazy like that. Hathor also returns as an NPC in Chapter 3. Nothing big right now, just some small talk and a bit of flirting on her part.

Maybe the Outsider's association with her could put her in extra danger going forward. Or even test the young relationship. Only Deus knows!

Can I get some advice for defeating Honey Bee, to complete her training? I'm a lvl 4 mage and I can barely put a scratch on her! I read that she's weak to fire feather, but its not doing anymore damage than usual. I dont want to get stuck so early in the game!

Nope. The first two Calypso encounters are fully implemented and working.

I had already read about that error shortly after you posted it, but I can't really give any advice.

Imo it's most likely that you used different versions of the game, say you beat calypso at the red chaos using a version that didn't have the second chaos yet. I don't know, I'm just wildly guessing. It worked fine for me, even when I had not entered the tower yet at all.

If you're on non DwtD mode (the batman quote at the start) then you can cheat and grab the White/Black feather from the clearing you start out on. Deus commented on how to get it earlier. But really, if you're on normal mode you should just keep trying. Don't be afraid to use healing potions and spend your money. I don't know how well fire works on her, but just tickling her belly (or feet when she flies up) should do the trick as well.

If you're on DwtD you might be fucked if you didn't choose your skills wisely. (hard to do when you're playing for the first time, obviously. 🙂) Definetly don't try leveling as that will make it even harder if you're already at level 4. As a rule of thumb for DwtD it really helps to get the stamina bonus early on so she doesn't knock you out with 3 hits. Make sure you've upgraded your armor as much as possible, use your goblin and just keep at it!

Ok this is my situation.

Mage lvl 6.
Skills:
Outsider lvl 1, Stamina lvl 2, Adrenaline lvl 1, Better Technique lvl 1.
Tickle Wisp lvl 1, Feather Fire lvl 3, Velicating Frost lvl 2.

I am still fighting Beel and the most I can cut her hp down is to 2/3 of total and that is in situation where all my feather fire does 250, when spaz evades every attack for ten rounds and then gets overwhelmed and after I use up all apple juice and orange juice.

In need of help.

Bashiku, while I know little about the mage, here's my general advice. On leveling, I've found maxing out stamina to be helpful. It gives you a bigger cushion for when to heal. I'd probably go with that over tech + (or hold off on frost if you can, but that seems like too much to ask of the mage). If you spared the Inari, Spaz will be a level higher. Bebe seems equally ticklish under her arms, her belly, and thighs. I tended to have a lot of fruit on hand to fix status effects as quickly as possible. Stock up on plenty of apple juice too (10-15 maybe? I don't know how ticklish you set your character on the 1-4 or 1-5 scale). Play conservative once Bebe gets low, or you're long fight will be for naught. Good luck, I'm struggling to get past her with my Slayer (I just take too many risks).

I'm assuming the 2nd Calypso fight is past the white(?) seal in the Arrival labyrinth. However, when I ring the bell on the seal.....it says the wellspring won't open...that there is something else to be worked on. What might that be?

So, the completely finished version only goes up to chapter 2 then? I hear talk of people playing much further ahead of me and it seems as though I can't go past Beezlebebe after beating her. You all must be playing a beta version of chapters to come? I am not certain because I haven't really read through past posts. If this is a stupid thing to ponder, please tell me heheh.
