Tower of Gargalesis (Tickling RPG M/F, F/F, F/M)

I wasn't going to post this since it's a really small update, but I feel obligated to if for no reason other than to say "Here you go" and what not.

Chapter 2 Calypso Update

Like the link says, basically, it adds Calypso to chapter 2 of Dance with the Devil. I've also included an NPC who will correct the Giggle Goblin's level. There are a few other tiny, tiny changes to be found in this update as well:

Mages now have 130% Base Technique (as opposed to 120%)

Slayers now have 130% Base Proficiency (same as above)

Orange Juices are now available at level 4 through the Prison store.

The thief has a new synth-weapon.

Keep in mind: Calypso is meant to be an end-chapter boss. Calypso at the Red Chaos is meant to be fought at level 3. Calypso in the new update (the Blue Chaos) is meant to be fought at level 6 after beating Bebe.

So, just started playin ToG last night and it pretty much rocks! Good job to those who made it and what not 🙂 One tiny question though, i'm currently on the Lost Child quest waaay in the beginning (sorta?) and I have NO idea where to find the blue haired girl's kid. Help me please?

Go back to the maze you first started the game and hop over the ledge, you should easily see the lost child from there.

The game freezes after you beat Calypso in blue chaos. Her image flashes out and then it brings you to seeing the scene right before you talked to her with the battle music playing and nothing happens. Can't bring up the menu either

I think I just broke the game. If you use the Dismiss command when you have Spaz out, it will resummon Spaz with full HP. This pretty much made every encounter a cake walk, including bosses.

Thanks to the efforts of Madame Josephine, I think my goblin is up to snuff. I say "I think," because the level still reads at 0. The stamina, however, reads at 435, which sounds appropriate for a level 8-9 goblin. Can I get a quick fact check on whether that's the "right" number for a goblin after the first Heart to Heart?

I'm actually glad the scene after Calypso was broken. Apparently, I stuck Calypso I in the fight with Calypso II, so she was much, much weaker than she should have been (missing 6 attacks!).

I've fixed that, along with fixing a very crushing error in how her aura worked. Now, it will work indefinitely, until she summons the next one.

Figured out the issue with the Goblin. 435 is correct for a level 10 Goblin. Dyslexia got in my way and I told it to call variable 253 instead of 235. My bad.

The Mage got some major nerfs:

- Endurance dropped to 75%, due in part to my belief that the Mage has better survivability than the Slayer.

- Frozen state was removed and replaced with Chilled.

- Burn damage was reduced from 5% to 2%

- Hypertouch now reduces Endurance by 10/30/50 instead of 20/30/60 like before.

That should be the bulk of the Mage nerfs. Chapter 3 is back under way, I managed to pull myself away from Birth By Sleep, you should thank the good King Mickey for this.

The fix applied to Calypso also affects 3 other things: Aello's flight, Honey Bee's flight, and Hunter Aspects. All should stay in effect until removed as intended now.

That is all. I fixed Calypso, prepare for an update.

I feel stupid for having to ask this, but for the life of me, I can not figure out the answer to the "How many coins can fit inside an empty chest" question. I am sure it is going to be something obvious, but i just can't figure it out. Could someone please tell me the answer? I'd really appreciate it.

Edit:
Nevermind I figured it out🙂

Yup...me again...so is Beezlebebe unbeatable or something? I beat both her fox girls before moving on to her but everytime i fight her i get my arse handed to me...badly. I'm now lvl 12 and it hasn't made any difference at all 🙁.

Levelling up doesn't really help you too much to be quite honest as the enemies and bosses will level up as well. I was actually quite surprised how long Beelzebee was on DWTD, 6000 HP at level 6 is quite bothersome.

So true, I personally find DwtD much more manageable if you don't do any additional leveling at all, unless you're really desperate for some coins.

Offtopic: I don't own a PSP so BBS is the first KH game I'm missing out on. /sobs.

OK sorry but i have to ask. How do you go about getting to Calypso for chapter two? i beat Bebe. Must have done something else to complete chapter 2 so i need to go back to my old file beat Bebe again then move directly to the next red circle?

Just ring the bell, it will show you the next wellspring. Right now, the only requirement is that you broke the previous seal.

Gratz, guys. I forgot to fix something else with Calypso, so enjoy her being obscenely easy right now. She should only Aura Change once or twice at most due to something I forgot to change back from beta-testing.

About Leveling - Mamono Endurance scales faster than their other stats. If you keep powerleveling, you'll eventually run into an issue where their Endurance just outmatches your low-leveled weapons. Since weapons are acquired by story, unlike armor, you will find that while your stats get higher, your weapons just can't keep up.

My recommendation is pretty obvious. The bosses are the exact levels you should fight them at. With the exception of a few, who will always be higher leveled than the Outsider (Paranoia is the first one of these to appear).

I forgot to mention a little bug I found while fighting with Bebe.
When I fight her I hear the regular theme that sounds when you fight every other mamono, but after I beat her comes up an awesome rocking tune that I assume was the theme intended for the fight with Bebe.
Speaking of wich, the new themes used on the fights with Lady Venus and Calypso are awesome, but still the one from the fight with Paranoia is (in my book at least) the one that kicks all kinds of ass.

The Seven Queens have variations of a new song (the fight with Barubary from Breath of Fire II, if you must know) for their battle theme. I forgot to set it properly for Bebe.

The song that plays when you get a Mamono into "Tickle or Free" is Death Scythe from Gundam Wing: Endless Dual.

if a save file stalls the game does that mean it is broken or this there anything i ccan do? Please help anyone
xxx

You can just shove the questions into google and it'll pop out the answers for you if it's too difficult to figure out, except for the one concerning volumes of coins and chests. That question is quite iffy.

Replace coins/chest with pennies and piggy bank. Every riddle except the first two came from the same site.

That is the very one i am stuck on. The rest i figured out. easily enough.

Psh. I'll admit I had to use google for like, all of them...except for the trojan horse and sky god one.

I wasn't able to figure out the one you're stuck on myself either, and even knowing the answer now I really don't get the logic behind it. XD

Keep thinking, or keep searching!

@Midnightlord: I'll just leave this here. The AppDB Wine has doesn't mention RPG maker or it's games, so you can either just try if it works, or google for other user experiences. I have no idea, but it's probably your only chance. Virtualbox or something similiar might also be an option, but I think it'll lag unless you run a high end computer.

@Deus: The second Encounter with Calypso was rough for my soldier and I had to redo quite a bit, to farm for flasks since you're not able to leave the Chaos places. Note that on one specific save I had not even encountered the flask dude as I had not entered the tower yet.

Okay, I probably would've stood no chance due to the minlevel of 6 but I thought I'd mention it anyway. Maybe restrict access until a certain point, or just leave it like it is. 🙂 Punishment for people who do not save often.

While I'm at it, I love the BGM both for when you talk to Calypso and when you fight her. Great choices, imo. Her story seems interesting too, but of course I can't say much seeing how we're just watching it unfold. The name she mentions reminded me of RO, an old game I played. Did you?

Another thing: Wasn't the soldier to the left of the captain supposed to have a star over him and/or intervene when you talk to the captain? He didn't have one for me, didn't say anything either but he gave me the quest like he was supposed to when I talked to him.

idofun, make sure that your game is about 50mb. If it is it the case that is over that mark, take your saves out of the file and then delete your old game and reinstall it

Assume the chest can only accept 1 coin at a time.

The moment you add 1 coin, it's no longer an empty chest. Hence, 1.

Thanks for the answer Deus. I should have answered last night but i got it. Poor Calypso.
She needs a time out and a bottle of something strong.
