Dear Bezzy... oh wait, that thing died a while ago. That's what I get for sporadic appearances. Anyway, a little bird told me there might be some kind of content for us today. Unfortunately not yet. Ah well. In any case, I wanted to pop in to offer words of encouragement and whatnot. Not only has the game ideas leaked to us so far been quite interesting, but the mini-culture popping up in this thread has been fun in its own right.

Sadly I've been a bit too lazy/busy/etc. to fully participate. But let that not be a sign that my interest has waned! I fondly remember my guessing games on those companion characters of yours. Whatever you deign to release to us in the near future, I'm looking forward to playing it. Keep up the good work! Keep on working on the game, you do have a fanbase! And so on, excessive praise and accolades. Give my regards to your menagerie of characters, AW.

Hey hey, it might've died, but it can always be resurrected! Death...is only the beginning.

Sorry about all the delays on this. Bloody hell, I pray it doesn't turn into a Duke Nukem Forever. But I do so love all that's been done since I first made the thread. I'm so happy with people still interested in my game, and even more so all the ones who jumped up to talk to a character I made up. It's a wonderful feeling 🙂 Now, as the game is released, I hope to keep building upon that. Maybe one day people will talk about who their favorite characters were, or what lose scene they liked the most, or whatever have you. That's one thing Deus did, he made you like a character.

Ahhh yes, and the girls were never fully guessed now, were they? Oh that was fun, watching you squirm about. Ah, but I hope when you see them, you'll now enjoy the personalities they've got and the private actions you'll have with them.

I pray I'll see more of you Carnivore. Pop your head in from time to time whenever you can 🙂
 
One major bug i've found is when you have finished the old mans training and if you stand to the left oh him while talking for the last time the game will basically freeze since the game is unable to make you walk left.
 
Found a bug as well. If you lose against the slime girl and try to watch the scene.. The game freezes after the "Not so fast" qoute from the old man ^^
 
Also.. I have yet to actually beat the slime girl.. Mages ain't got shit on that plump evil slime! T_T


Never mind.. Got her on my 8th try with the help of rng.. Seriusly had to try until I got a dodge to win. Even with the pot and all 😵

Found another one! When talking to the guard at the spring/lake thingy.. It can't find her face graphics and crashes the game.
 
So far I'm really enjoying the game. It's got that good ol' ripped video game soundtrack, and it looks like you're not using the standard rpg face sprites. Which is good.

There is the bug with the old man, if you talk to him facing left or right, the character froze and wouldn't move. (to fix I talked to him facing up.)

The cat girl in sandy smiles has another lock up if you spare her and return with panties, she's in a corner and after giving the panties, the game locks up.

When the player attacks a character, it says, "Nadya tickles your ____" Which is just kinda off.

Also, nothing happens when I wear out the timer in the movement quest.

Found one more. After saving the "deer" jumping over and talking to her will not freeze the game. But you cannot move anywhere after it. You can check your inventory and stuff. but your character is totally stuck in place. Also.. She you don't actually recieve the hi-pots that she "forces" you to take.

Also.. If you enter the cave after winning the battle.. The characters reappear. You can neither talk nor battle them again. they are just there.

Found another one! The shopkeeper that sells armor won't stop repeating her first conversation.. So you can't actually purchase anything from her ^^
And I ran into something that looked like a potion shop.. But I could not talk to the girl behind the counter.. Also.. I could walk over the counter. xD
Also.. Entering the inn/pub in the second city throws you into a room with no exits! 😵

The game freezes after you beat the octupus girl, it says that she's starting to edge towards the ocean and then it freezes.

HOO! Good, good good. I'm shocked at some of these bugs though since I could've sworn I found them earlier on and crushed them already. I'm making a list of all of them and will get them fixed ASAP.

Thankfully, the Demo is pretty much beta testing central. And THANKFULLy, I'm smart enough to grab a few testers from here on as I produce the rest of the game. SO KEEP LOOKING FOR BUGS! 😀

The Demo is 78 MB because...in fact...it isn't just the Demo. I've got many other parts of the game in there, and several things disabled. The size is going to get bigger and bigger, though - as Xtreme said - the music is the biggest files. I've compressed them as small as I can without taking hits n quality though.

It shall be done! En taro adun! ^^

Carrier has arrived!

I've now gone and squashed many of these bugs! The only one I've yet to do is the Timer running out in the Movement quest. Sooo until then, you cannot fail that quest! My deepest apologies, I'll check that all out later tonight and make sure you can fail!

So embarrassing. Many of these were simply me hooking them to the wrong events. Like the Octopus girl - I had ANOTHER event trying to run away XD
Others, like the Old Man, were me missing a direction the player could've been talking to the NPC. And then you have stuff like the Shopkeeper who simply wasn't at the same level of the player, thus you couldn't talk to the event. SO SILLY!

So please keep checking things out for me and reporting anything you find amiss!

Mages should be using spells and Strange Power magic. Forego the "Tickle this body spot" attacks.

Did you try pressing the Z button when you got to the edge? I checked, and that still seems to be working o.o You must press Z to activate a jump.
 
The jumping over went fine.. But after her thank you stuff I could not move. I could still save and check my inventory and stuff. But I could not turn around and jump back T_T
Also.. I totally spammed freakin' spells on that overgrown blob! Still had to try until I got a rng dodge and pot. Was pretty insane if you ask me. 60 hp and she deals 20+ with every attack xD
Noticed that the bug with not being able to watch the lose vs slime scene is still there 😛

Just noticed that the armor shop stops working after the first event. I bought all I need so I don't really mind.. But you can only access it via the intro thing. So might want to look into that ^^
 
Anime you're such a blasted tease! First place the slime girl goes for is her belly and doesn't even touch the button. GAH! lol
