Ever find a copy of Neverwinter Nights?

I was kinda trolling for it on bittorent, then I looked on amazon...pretty cheap there so I may go that route. I asked one of the people I play D&D if he ever played it. He said he had, but it was confusing because he didn't know where he was supposed to go or what he was supposed to do. Is the game like that or is he an idiot?

He's an idiot. Once you start learning the map and where you can and can't go at certain times, it's a breeze. He must not have ever heard of tooltips on the map that TELL you which building is what.

Not to mention it's a fairly free roaming game within where you can go during the storyline. There are quests everywhere so it doesn't really matter. Slap that foo' for me, would ya?

My nerves were wrecked. It was a lot of unknown running through my head of how others would be, how the gathering would run, and how I would feel about it.

Would you ever host your own gathering? What would the theme be?

Probably not. It's a large responsibility and for the most part I go to have pure fun. You have to look out for everyone, check on them, and do a little policing every now and again if, say, you're in a hotel and people are loud so Paul Blart comes knocking on the door saying people are complaining. LOL I'm much more content enjoying what someone has put on.

What's the best single gathering-related memory?

Oh gosh, I don't know if I have a SINGLE best one. Though that one night at the restaurant at NEST...that was the stuff of legends.

I think you have to calculate what time you planned on leaving, add an hour to it for the time you would actually end up leaving, and THEN wait for another 2 hours after that. Good to go, then.
