Whatchu playing?

Final Fantasy a Realm Reborn. Dunno what I'm going to be yet, but I've been playing with the character creator and I'll probably end up being marauder / warrior.

Red Dead Redemption was bigger than GTA IV, and so the news that GTA V is five times the size of it is a pretty impressive statistic.

Not only does GTA V make RDR look like a countryside park, it also dwarfs San Andreas and Liberty City, setting of GTA IV.

GTA V is bigger in scale than all three of those games combined, which really gives you a feel of just how massive this game is going to be.

It's also got sharks so yeah, game of the year.

Someone hasn't played Saints Row IV and witnessed the

Ironic that they didn't go the "free to play" route. It just shows how out of touch Square/Enix is with the rest of the gaming community. I swear to god if they come out with more damn sequel of Final Fantasy XIII or put out one more damn game for the iphone (instead of putting it on a console) I'm gonna rage like a motherfucker!

You got me there, I rely on friends getting games far too much. I should really get my own system 😱

Tried FF14:Realm Reborn.

Didn't catch me after getting a Marauder to level 30ish? I did enjoy tanking though. Didn't enjoy the server stuff. Probably expected for any new MMO-launch.

Re-playing Dragon Age 2 because why not! Might pick up WoW again since I've some free time lately. I hear all the cool kids play that still, right? Right? D:

Re-playing X-COM Enemy Unknown, this time with a base in Europe. I have won from N. America and Asia so far- looking for the trophy for winning a compaign from each continent.

I'm looking forward to GTA V, but it'd better not just be a re-run of their past installations into this series. I'd like to see at least a few new features and a more interesting plot.

Not to mention that if they're going to have that massive of a sandbox, then they better have the content to fill it out. I don't want to see lots of copy-pasted cardboard cut-out buildings and streets everywhere. I just got done re-playing Fallout 3, so my expectations are pretty high for sandbox games right now.

Super Mario Bros. Crossover 3.0. Fun Flash-game (an improved Super Mario Bros. 3.0 on the NES). Best played on a controller though (I use a DualShock 3). Next to that I'm currently also playing the Mega Man games I have never finished before.

There is quite a bit being added, I dunno about Landscapes yet but I know they are adding babies to the game, and sharks to the water. These are minor things but I can't quite remember everything else.

If you like the ideas of crossovers I'd highly recommend Mushroom Kingdom Fusion, it's similar to Crossover but based moreso on the graphics of Bros 3 with ties in from many franchises including Sonic, all with unique power ups the developers made specifically for the game, along with the classics

My favourite Mario Bros Title! Might try that one out then. I was about to try Rokko Chan (as I'm playing the Mega Man franchise now, fan games included).

It's really good although it's not completely finished yet. All the early worlds are though, and if you like fan games try out Megaman DL. It's basically megaman but playing it from one of the bosses' perspective

It looks good indeed and I hope the project gets finished one day (as it's hard work indeed). I've just downloaded the last zip-file (music2). Just need to calibrate my controls and I'm good to go.

As for Mega Man DL. It's basically like Mega Man Powered Up for the PSP which also allows you to play as the robot masters (and also as Roll even), but then in 8-bit graphics. I also see robot masters from Mega Man 1 and elements of Mega Man 2's levels (after a quick google).

Seems like you are well-versed in fangames around, by the way. :coolthumbup

EDIT: Just tried Mushroom Kingdom Fusion. I'm impressed I must say. The gameplay is surprisingly very smooth, though not as smooth as the gameplay of SMBC 3.0. (then again the characters are also more diverse and harder to implement, they did manage to make a character like Sonic for instance, very playable indeed albeit a little sloppy from time to time and my hat off for that!) It doesn't have controller support, so I had to configure it as I would for a Flash game, but it's no big issue as once configured the gameplay is the same. JoytoKey ftw.

Yeah it's a neat little game, and the slew of powers up you get later on are fantastic. You can get a Megaman suit for Mario in the Megaman World which is just really well done for a costume that was personally made and not taken from previous incarnations of Mario.

Mario...as MEGAMAN? Okay, I HAVE TO PLAY THIS! ^_^

Now, is this SNES Mario or NES Mario?

It's a combination of both based on the sprite, but it's game play is mostly similar to Mario Bros 3. The creators definitely tweaked a few things cause you can even see Mario has blue eyes, even though as far as I know no game before 64 really showed eye color of him, could be wrong though.

If we're going to continue flailing our arms about over Megaman fan games, Megaman Unlimited is a lot of fun, and MegamanXStreet Fighter was entertaining as well.

Also, I've been asked to try out Vindictus, so I'll give it a shot.

One of my favorites. I suggest you give New Vegas a try if you liked Fallout 3. Better product in my opinion.

I've played them both. Especially Mega Man Unlimited is impressive (made by three people, one of which composed original Capcomesque music for the game). Street Fighter X Mega Man is fun too. I've even took the time and effort to beat Akuma in that one. 🙂

Worlds have a crossover theme as well then? Nice! Just finished Boo's Mansion yesterday and I've found out your choice of characters greatly influences its difficulty (Push-over as Meta Knight, hard as hell as SMB2 Luigi). Great level design anyway. I love how they've incorporated elements of different Mario games like SMB3 and SMBW as well as sprites from Super Mario Land 2 I believe (and music in the first level of course).

It really surprises me this game isn't that well-known yet, for a project being started in 2008. What would this made legendary from awesome is if they'd added 'two player mode' one day (and even more so if they made it possible set up network connections between two people; like you can in some emulators).

Oh yes it has quite the cross over theme. Each world is dedicated to each specific game. 1st is obviously Mario Bros, second is an "Alternate Earth" which feels like a jumble of different games. Third is the Megaverse, dedicated to all things Megaman. Fourth is Demon Realm which borrows heavily from Ghost and Ghouls and to a lesser extent Castlevania. The 8th world, Nintendo Subspace is realllllllly unique. There's a Game and Watch level, with the exact same graphics which I thought was really neat.

daily I play league of legends

sometimes i play heroes of might and magic VI and saint row 3 (and when i can i will play the 4th )

I went back to try Vindictus since Knicks was pushed in to trying, they must have had a slew of updates since I last played. Vella finally has a second skill set to make her feel more flushed out as a character and makes her a viable choice now. Also we danced, well I danced, Knicks sorta sauntered about making obscene hand gestures

honest to god Becks I will use the wave button to smack your ass again if you do not respect my dancing 🙄

Also people should play Fallout New Vegas if they like fun or video games or Elvis Presley cameos.

Hey now, you knew those hand gestures offended many others. That one guy with a cowhead came over and tried to stop you, and yet, you persisted.
