Whatchu playing?

Hey now, you knew those hand gestures offended many others. That one guy with a cowhead came over and tried to stop you, and yet, you persisted.

I think he was trying to stop your shameful display of public anime.

Whatttt? But I was so kawaii desu~ Don't be a hater cause your hand gestures are so unseemly

Clearly we need Gaston in this thread now

http://earnthis.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/gaston.jpg

He uses Antlers in all of his Decorating.

Also, to avoid going off topic too much (too late), I'd also like to throw out a reccomendation for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for 3DS or Wii U. If you're okay with a game that constantly attempts to barrage you with overwhelming odds and very rarely holds your hand, but feels deep and extremely rewarding, I'd give it a shot. It's actually less expensive than most games for the system.

I've been playing more Mushroom Kingdom Fusion and much to my surprise while finishing the level Desert Hill I unlocked access to World 7 (Sonic's World) and from there even access to World 6 (Adventurer's Domain) which I kind of quickly figured out to be at least partially based on J-RPGs (that random encounter scared the hell outta me 😉). As I don't really like Sonic and rather want to reach Mega Man's world (World 3 as I read here) I'm sticking to World 1 now.

I might play the Goomba Mines again so I can unlock World 2 (and by the soldier marching near the exit I can see World 2 is based on Metal Slug).

Also, as much fun as playing cross-over characters is, personally I'm having most of the fun playing as Luigi (I love his 'high jump' ability from SMB2/Doki Doki Panic). I've also played a bit as Zero, but I was slightly disappointed finding out I couldn't dash/jump making one jump seemly impossible to do.
Meta Knight is boring in my opinion, due to his lack of powerups, but great for cheesing out harder levels (even though I sometimes accidentally charge forward when I just want to slash at my enemies, causing me to take a hit).

Meta-Knight is like a Swiss cheese, able to go through levels at blinding speed but so full of holes that he can easily be glitched. Definitely the character that needs the most work.

I will tell you though, in the 3rd part of the 1st world is a castle that can either take you to the next part of Mushroom Kingdom, or if you go and turn off the jet for the tunnel underwater, you can go to a megaman-esque part of the castle where you do battle with Diveman, giving you a secret early entrance to Megaman's universe.

If you do it normally you just run into one of the koopa kids in the big gray tunnel, and can't access the secret tunnel, only the one that takes you to the next part of the world

I also like the Mega Man outfits. So far I've tried out Mega Man Mario, Proto Luigi and Quick Man Sonic. I've also found out that in World 7 you get way more rupees. 😉

Yeah you do, which sadly makes the game a wee bit broken if you can flat out buy any costume you want, but at the same time the levels in World 7 are a lot harder to do so it evens out

Beneath the Sands must be the first 'hard' level. Why oh why do you have to collect three keys over a lava pit? How I hate myself from climbing too high when I was about to collect the easy one as my final key (causing my character to fall and touch the firebeam). I ragequitted and will try again tomorrow.

I'm sure it's not a real hard level, but so unforgiving when you make one tiny mistake.

EDIT: Tried again, went through it on my first try. Actually pretty easy, just need to be familiar with the mechanics. 😉

EDIT2: I'm at Dire Dire Docks and stumbled upon a glitch. Fucking hell!

Haha wow never seen that, but then again I never ran to the end of that hallway, I waited by the first gap for water to fill and swam to the pipe

I tried to swim/jump my way up via the final gap (as you can see by the coins I fell through the middle, because I didn't time my jump right; despite the jump being actually easy). What happened instead was that I went through the right wall and got transported up to the ceiling. I also still had a mushroom powerup at that point, but I touched the fireball before hitting F9.

Funny, playing that level again (which I did for getting the W3 shortcut; because I bothered getting the keys unknowingly and only had 50 seconds left on my run) I barely got hit by obstacles. One becomes better at this game rather fast.

I've also unlocked World 8 (which is a very easy secret to find if you ask me). Superflat World is an awesome level indeed.

Also seen some mistake everyone must have noticed in the map of World 3. W3 has to be W1 for Guts Man's Stage obviously.

Yeah, I'm kind of hooked to this game as you can see. I really hope they'll finish it one day. They need a lot of work on some characters, but the levels seem to be nearly finished already (the nightmare levels are scrapped sadly, because of adding new characters; project currently in hiatus because they need to change engine).

I need Ubisoft to release Watch Dogs, damn it.

Funny, I need Activison to remake Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project (and not make it suck like the Turtles in Time remake did)!

Also, not gonna lie, I wouldn't mind a X-Men Legends 3 or remakes of Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI (all three need to be for the Playstation 3 or Playstation 4 though)!

And for the love of god almighty Square/Enix, GET OFF YOUR ASSES AND GIVE US A SEQUEL to Final Fantasy Tactics or a REMAKE for Final Fantasy VII!

JESUS ON A POGO STICK is it ANY WONDER your company had to FILE FOR BANKRUPTCY recently!

I seriously wonder what the hell is going on with the video game market right now. Seriously, let's look at this...
- Square-Enix, one of (well, two of, technically) the most well-known makers of awesome games has imploded.
- Crapcom is...ugh...I don't even know where to start...
- I found out that Midway has been bankrupt for years, which was disheartening
- Activision is too busy cranking out CoD games and rolling in money from that, which has made a horrible stereotype for "successful" current games, caused Japanese companies to switch up their usually-okay formulas to try to emulate, and also is probably why Turtles in Time remake was so painful
- Microsoft is going all Big Brother on everyone (it's still there, I'll never trust em!)
- Sony is going to be picking up the "charge to play online" bs with the PS4...at least I'll still get my library of free games with that basically forced membership...hopefully...
- Nintendo's been promising me games that I've been wanting to play for years that STILL will not be out in the near future
- Indie developers have become, at the least for me and most of my friends, the go-to source for anything quality recently and upcoming
- Mister Mega Man himself, Inafune, has had to resort to creating a "new" OC and launch a kickstarter just to bring those style of games back to people (also, go donate to that NOW!)

....ugh, it's late and I can't think straight, but you get the idea. It definitely has my gamer side worried as hell. Oh, and I have no idea what Beckers and Debble are talking about, but this sounds like something that I should have been a part of since day now. Guess I know what I'm doing tomorrow!

I'm cannot wait until GTAV comes out just like anyone here.

About C(r)apcom. Their latest decisions aren't the greatest indeed. Seems we're heading toward a Capcom dark age, sadly. I'm confident in what the Mighty No. 9 is going to become, though and I have the silent hope that the possible success of that title (in 2015 probably) might revive Mega Man again (doesn't have to be in the hands of Inafune for it to work; think about the quality fan games that have been made about Mega Man like Day in the Limelight, Unlimited and Rokko Chan.

That's actually my hope, too, it was one of the first things that went through my mind. But honestly, if they (Capcom) are going to react, they'll probably tease *another* MM game, maybe start to make it, then cancel it to hell and back, just to drag the name around in the dirt some more. It's happened, what, 4 times in the past year or two? I'm sadly expecting the Smash appearance to be one of his last. Well, "officially" and not as No. 9, haha.

Tried FF14:Realm Reborn.

Didn't catch me after getting a Marauder to level 30ish? I did enjoy tanking though. Didn't enjoy the server stuff. Probably expected for any new MMO-launch.

I've been playing FF14. The server issues have been pretty much cleared up. Funny thing for a launch that was their only real major issue. When I actually could play (before I decided just to leave my char AFK) the game really ran smooth. Now that the servers can handle the capacity I am having a great deal of fun with it.

I've have been on Guild Wars II, The Secret World and SW:TOR. I have some friends playing Neverwinter so I'll probably play with that one as well. I am curious to see how World of Darkness rolls out when that is ready. Hmm... I'll have to see if they have an open beta.

Outside of MMOs the only real game that I put any real time into is Civ. That I've been into since its first release way back when.

I've been playing FF14.

I would love to play a female Hellguard (if only they'd make the damn game free to play)!

Everything I've heard about the re-release sounds good though.

Does anyone know if Hellguards can be summoners or are they primarily a martial race?

Only videogames I play lately are "Elder Sign: Omens", "Plants Vs Zombies" and "Sudoku".

Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Diablo 3

I've been obsessed with the game play style of the Elder Scrolls series for years. I'm waiting for a release date on Fallout 4 (God only knows when that will happen). Lately I've been hooked on playing the Demon-Hunter in Diablo 3. The game has the same simple mechanics of the older ones pretty much, but it just strikes a certain nostalgic nerve with me. Probably because I love the old dungeon crawlers.

Might come to no surprise that I'm currently playing GTAV. Love it so far and it seems to have surpassed GTAIV greatly. I also like the fact they've made it harder for the player to shake off the cops. I had to get used to the different controls (in IV you had to hold down the triangle button to enter a cab as a passenger, in V you have to just press it for that).

I only had time to play it for about an hour at a friends, despite the quality of her tv the graphics still looked great and I was looooving the off-roading. I spent most of my time doing that, then attempting to swim with sharks. Poorly, I might add.

What? Oh right, people outside of my room exist. I kinda forgot. Yeah, GTAV is pretty much the only thing in the world that matters to me right now. 😛
