Some Elfen Lied, by far the best Anime series I've seen so far! 😀 . There aren't many things that actually make me cry when I'm watching them nowdays, and even less that I would cry even when I know what's going to happen. 😱 .

Zelos is from Tales of Symphonia, an RPG released on Gamecube about two years ago I think.

Oh ok. I've got to pick that up sometime. It's one of the ones on my to-buy list.
 
Perhaps I should pick up a Gamecube at some point, if for nothing else but LOZ:TP (if it ever actually comes out)

BTW, is this the oldest living thread or what? It boggles the mind that I remember this from, like, 2 1/2 or something years ago.
 
So has anyone else seen Elfen lied and agrees with me that it's brilliant? Nobody where I am has even heard of it >< .
 
Aside from that one clip posted here, no. But if it's that good, I might watch it once I get dsl, and that still probably wouldn't be till after I've gotten caught up on Naruto and have seen Bleach.
 
2 good choices, though I'm dissapointed in Naruto and Bleach recently. Naruto seems to have gone really downhill, and bleach is in a huge filler arc at the minute. Elfen lied however is a 14 episode series, and it's so incredibly fantastic! I honestly think it's the best anime I've ever seen.
 
Which Naruto eps are you refering to there? And I think it's safe to assume that you think that this Elfen Lied is a pretty good anime, huh!? 😀
 
Hehe. Well I've just been watching episode 182, and this is the 3rd ep in a row I've stopped watching half way through because it was so boring.
 
Ah, so it hasn't gotten to the 'big skip' then has it?! Well, it should get alot better soon then, based on what I've seen of the manga.
 
I hope it does, cause I'm thinking of giving up the series soon if it doesnt pick up. But yeah, I totally reccomend Elfen Lied.
 
Well, I guess that's a good enough reason for me then! And yes, Naruto should pick up after the 'big skip'. I actually don't plan on watching the filler eps, since I've only seen up to 167.
 
The one thing I don't like about Canada... our anime stock is much too small. I only have up to Volume 8 of the Naruto manga, we're still stuck at the "Chuunin Exams: Forest of Death" epis, (although Dark Sasuke is nuts!) we don't get Bleach here but I've seen one episode without translation so it wasn't as good as it could have been and unfortunately...I believe there is a tickle scene in one of the epis of Elfen Lied and that is all I have seen. THANK FREAKIN GOD FOR FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST OR I'D BEGOING INSANE WATCHING RE-RUNS OF GUNDAM SEED and the new/old anime "Case Closed".

Hahaha!!! I hear you dogg. I can't wait to see my new Narutos, especially since I've finished FMA and SC. Well, there's always the option I use, but that's assuming you have a really good internet connection.
