I'm telling you from an outside perspective that you are wrong. Yes he is sarcastic. And a smart ass. But there is so much truth in so much of what've says. Yet... you can't see it. And who is the asshole? I hope I didn't come across suggesting is that way. The only thing I think left to express is it's quite simple for those in established relationships to suggest that matters of singles are dick simple and easily resolved without noticing if it were the case there would be no forum to start off with.

I'm not calling anyone an asshole. Elmore Leonard was a terrific writer (Get Shorty, Justified, many others) who had a unique voice and made great points about perception and perspective.

Tickling and relationships are not the same thing. Ideally, for some, they may go hand in hand, but many people play with others without some weird idea of 'having game' 'scoring' or worrying about if the other person wants kids. Just sayin' .

Yeah, while it can be difficult to really find that awareness, kind of shooting yourself in the foot if you're trying to find something that you aren't even sure of.

Depends on how narrow the criteria are. Guys on the TMF are famous for shooting themselves in the foot (feet?) that way.

Yes and no, I guess. Everyone has different levels of self awareness and willingness to figure themselves out. Therapy helps.
