Women in DANGER !

Christina Carter, the girl with the tattoo on her leg in 224-226, is becoming my favorite bondage model.......... She`s in a movie called the Body Shop where she gets her feet in stockings spanked with a strap/leather paddle, only for a minute....but haven`t gotten past that scene yet

so few more

Gimme danger little stranger...

I happened upon a large file of old(and newer) comic-book covers with damsels in distress and the like. I'll commence to adding them to this thread, if it's okay with Guilis70.

I LUV Comic Books!

Mr. Tibbler, once again your come up with some very nice items. I love the comic book covers! I await more posts.

Thank!

Peace out!

Thanks, md1957! Since Guilis70 hasn't been by to give a 'Yea' or 'Nay' on the matter, I'll throw up some more while we await his reply on the suitability of these sorts of images in his thread.

I'll try to throw up some more later, after classes today. Incidentally, I love how the gal saving the day in the middle one above(ALL TOP COMICS) is a dead ringer for Bettie Page!
It's especially amazing when, that comic was most likely published BEFORE Bettie was modeling. Or possibly concurrently...

Is it possible that Betty Page is an archetype for all pin-up girls? Was there a Betty Page before Betty Page was Betty Page? Shucks, the bull is just getting deep around here isn't it!

I really appreciate the posts though!

Peace out!

Well, still no word from the thread-starter, so here's afew more of those crazy comic-book covers!

There were certainly pin-up queens before Bettie, but she and the handful of others who worked for the great Irving Klaw surely must have been some of the very first to model in bondage like that. Especially strictly for the fetishistic appeal, as opposed to models and actresses who would pose bound in the movies and such portraying damsels in distress, as many of these comic book covers portray.

I agree with you 100% Mr. Tibbler! But, is it possible that there was a Betty Page before Betty Page was Betty Page? I am confused!

Peace out?

I think I am getting a headache!

You mean like a stage-name or such, md1957? Nope, there was only one Bettie Page, as far as that goes. I'm not sure, but I "think" she's still alive, too! There was a concerted search for her amongst her many fans, and she was finally located, just living the simple grandmotherly life somewhere out in the Midwest, trying to basically bury her racy past, despite the wishes of her legions of fans.

But, back to...Women in Danger(the funny-book covers)! And guess who turned up yet again? 😉

Thanks for more excellent covers, Mr. Tibbler!

I was just kidding about Betty Page. She is certainly one of a kind! Thanks for the covers featuring her! She is one legend that should be kept alive! Especially for the young ones (younger than me), who have never before seen her or her work!

Peace out!

Oh, good! I'm probably getting a rep as "The Bettie Guy", when I'm sure there's others who know alot more about her career and whatnot.

Thanks for the covers Mr. Tibbler. I think you have taken over this post!

Sorry guilis! Please come back!

Peace out!

:super_hap I like to think of it as merely "keeping the home fires burning" until the master returns.

Wow, Tibbler! I never knew that Buster Crabbe (the original Flash Gordon) had his own comic. I wonder how many other actors had comics about them (and not the characters)?

Hell, I'm amazed anyone here even knows who Buster Crabbe WAS, kyhawkeye! But yeah, it wasn't uncommon for early action stars like Crabb to garner their own comic books. Sorta the same as the action stars of the next generation getting their own animated TV series.

Anyone who doesn't know who Buster Crabbe was isn't a fan of movies. But I'll take Middleton anyday. Mm... with the big collared robe and that authoritative voice...

Oh! Ah... yeah. Crabbe was great. The action was cheesy back then, but damn he was good at it. Especially the way he could fit into tight clothes during those fight scenes, and...

Um... I'm gonna go be quiet. n_n;;

Didn't he manage to play both Flash Gordon AND Buck Rogers at different intervals, too? I may be mistaken on that. Anyway, more from the comic book jamboree:
