I have to admit, I pretty much appropriated this thread because I ran across a humongous amount of comic book covers with, yep, women in danger. I'm just trying to post up afew from this collection every day or three until it's all here. By all means, though, feel free to post up some photos of women in danger if you gots `em!

I notice that all three of your selections are not only excellent examples of the "Women in Danger"-theme, but they are all "Barefoot Women in Danger"! 😉


That Lois Lane cover might have wide appeal to several fetishist sensibilities. I could see fans of "messy girls" loving the mud aspect, "Vores" might really dig the snake, which might also delight fans of "crushing/suffocation"-fare.

The Micronauts cover is confusing, in that I don't know what's going on in the storyline, so I have no clue why all those mutant-looking humanoids are laying around at the foot of the electric-chair. I wonder if they're supposed to be former victims of the chair, or if she is a superheroine who kicked all their asses before someone finally overpowered her and strapped her into the chair. Regardless, it'd be much cooler as a tickling scenario. I wonder how difficult it would be for some Photoshop-savvy member to trade-out the shadow of the figure about to throw the switch with a silhouette of a figure holding up a feather?

Then there's that last one, the Daredevil-comics illustration. Surely the best example of Golden Age comic-books catering to our rarified tastes! Honestly, it might be my favorite tickling illustration ever.

But I love tickling illustrations best when they ARE treated as something perilous to be feared! What can I say. I'm kinda kitschy...

Seriously, I've come to the realization that the illustrations of our favorite fetish that i like best are usually the ones where the tickling is right about to happen, rather than in the midst of the proceedings. The ticklee with that whole astonished, "OMG! You wouldn't DARE!"-look, the tickler with sporting the traditional leer of the mad doctor/executioner/gangster/insert-arch-villain-here-baddie.
