If only I got meet a female into tickling in Australia. It has been a dream my whole life and I am yet to properly fulfill that aspect of my personality. So sad. I wonder if it will ever happen.....

yes the Hollywood Brother would meet ayone from this site in real life. Also the hollywood Brother promises not to be in character when he meets all the ladies of the forum

Two girls I met from IM's. One was a college student here in town. The other lived in Houston.

I've met two different guys that I met through an online personal ad. Neither one worked out, but no big deal.

Best result was meeting a guy named Scott through email. We both worked for the same company, but in different states. After about 3 months of emails, we met face to face. He's my closest friend now, and I'm his.

Although I would never meet an online (or offline) contact from a dating service, I have met three online platonic friends in person when I lived in California. I still stay in contact with all three 🙂

I also voted yes, but I also would like to get to know the person and not jump into bed right away but just have a romantic dinner and chat

yes I would and have. I met Smileytikls and Ticklebelly. Soon, I will be meeting Neutron. Can't wait. Someday, I hope to meet mgctch and MitchJ

Sure, why not? I have dated a couple of TK people I met online. Most people I've met, though, are just good friends--some are TK people and some are not.

This is referring to online dating/personals...like if you were single and met someone online. Would you meet them, or would you not? Why or why not?

i might would. i don't know. he would have to be into ears(i like to have my ears tickled 😀).

I would meet them, but i would take all the necessary precautions as well,I have only met a couple people from my area at play parties, but would still love to meet more(women only) here in the Upstate NY region. I have had the pleasure of meeting Josie and only talking to NJ Jen.But to hear from other women ticklees within travel distance of the capital region would be sweeeet.

I proble would but there are alot of risks in doing so. But as long as i took real good caution and took safety steps before arranging anything with a contact online. Then sure

I Would really wanna meet some Girls, but the most of these Fetish are from other Countries. It's hard for me to find some one! When, than i chat sometimes with some, but they aren't interessed to meet us. Too Bad!

I voted yes.

I would be glad to meet someone, although it would be more nice to realize someone you already know is into the same thing as yourself.
How great would it be if you were conversing with someone online, decided to meet, and found out you already knew them? Or, is that what you said? I'm stoned. 😕

That's like the plot of that danged movie with the Piña Coladas song in it. This husband and wife decide things aren't working out, so he puts his personal ad in the newspaper, this woman answers it thinking he's all she's looking for, and they arrange to meet only to find out that the woman is his wife.

I voted yes. Although I've never met a potential date from online in person yet, I have met friends from online in person. I'm a member of the website Something Awful, where people have periodic "Goon meets," which is everyone from the website getting together to be idiots (we do it well). I also ran a clan for the computer game Counter-Strike several years ago, and ended up going over to a clanmate's house when I found out he lives half an hour from here. He and I are still good friends. I've also done a bizarre hybrid wherein I met a person in real-life, exchanged emails and then got to know her online, then we got back together in real life for a date. That was great fun.

Bottom line, as long as you behave like an intelligent person, meeting someone from online is no more inherently dangerous than going to the drive-through at McDonalds. If you arrange the first meeting (or first five) in a public place to make sure they're not a creepy stalker-type, and avoid other newbie mistakes, then there ought to be no danger at all.

Hah, I've got a horror story for everyone!! Get ready to hold onto your 'balzac', this may scare the hair off of it. Now, I have this friend, (you can actually see a picture of her feet on this website if you dig that kind of thing, but not her face, I only show that to people who I know, that are truly interested. Look in the non-tickling images for some "hottest soles" thread. I posted it in there...you'll see it. lol.) and she met some guy over the internet who called himself "Seth", and claimed to be 19. Every time she talked to him on the phone, it was this really well-spoken 19 year old who seemed generally harmless. He even had nice pictures, so she told me. Anyway, this guy didn't exactly live near her, but he could contact her in the flesh if he wanted to. So they decided to meet up one time. She showed up, with her friend, but, this Seth character never showed up. However, when she got back home, and contacted him again, he sent her photographs he took, of her, in this public place. She had no idea he took them. He gave an excuse like "oh you're too beautiful and I chickened out". She believed it for the time being. So after some more talking, this guy starts buying her gifts and stuff...really nice stuff, too. So she agreed to meet him with again, alas, to no avail. He did not "show up", but instead, was there instead taking pictures of her without her knowledge. So she confronted him again, and fed her the same excuse. She bought it. She may have an incredible body, but she's no rocket scientist. Anyway, he started buying more extravagant gifts, the most memorable being a queen-size-bed. How amazing is that, huh? What a "nice" "kid". So anyway, she was growing a little tired of the games, and didn't thank him as much as he expected her to, so his behavior grew from quirky to erratic. This time, he was taking pictures of her in places where she was, not in an agreed meeting with him, but like, he'd follow her to her friend's house, or to the store, and he'd know little details/quirks about her that most people wouldn't pick up. For example, he "thought she should know" that she has a habit of walking exactly 3 steps behind people when she follows them. Also, he knew all the names of the friends/friends parents when he followed her to the places. So he went from charming, cautiously charming, to full-blown creepy stalker. She did the obvious course of action and called the police. He was caught following her once...and that's when the truth unfolded. He wasn't a charming 19 year old boy named Seth. He was a 5'2", short, fat, balding 38 year old man whose name escapes me. A real creepy looking guy, too, he even had the creepy-stalker look. So he was warned, and they put a restraining order on him. This didn't please him, and he thought she should know this. He let her know by murdering a small animal, cutting out one of it's organs and mailing it to her, along with a letter explaining how displeased he was. This bought him a trip to prison. After he got out, his reign of terror resumed right where it left off. His being in prison was even more displeasing to him, so he decided to let her know. He followed her around FREQUENTLY, and sent her another dead animal part, with a death letter. This time, he got put away for a year or so. After he got out, he resumed stalking her again. This time he got a little more dangerous. He made obscene phone calls very often, but this time, the police couldn't find him! He hadn't been home. Also, he got ahold of one of her messenger screen names, and some others (including mine) and started talking to us. This eventually lead to his being arrested again, for good this time. He was foolishly giving me clues to his whereabouts. I called her up and told her all the shit he was saying to me, and told them to call the police and get to her house. Eventually, I had enough of his babbling bullshit to make a guess as to where he was, and it turns out, what I told her was completely accurate. He told me things like, exactly what she was wearing, how he could see above into her bedroom window, and I assumed he was in the next door neighbor's basement. When the police found him, he was in their basement, maybe....10-15 feet away from her the whole time, only seperated by 2 sets of windows. So I hope this story teaches you all a lesson. Oh, by the way, you want to know how he was able to pull off the disguise flawlessly at first? He was paying some kid to speak for him on the phone, and OBVIOUSLY used fake photos. So, beware.

Thank you, SheDevil, for the cautionary tale!!! I had a little problem last year with a wannabe stalker (an erratic former "fan"), which is one reason I had to pull down all of my public profile pics and greatly increase my overall level of caution. I realised that I had been too naive for my own good, and that I was lucky to have gotten out of the situation relatively unharmed. Now I'm far more careful.

It's possible for creeps to get a cohort to talk on the phone in their place, or even to appear on webcam for them, so it's best to be careful. If the first meeting with someone doesn't happen as expected, or if things get strange, some healthy skepticism is definitely warranted.

Thoses two storys that She Devil and Mistress wrote up. Is why i haven't gone out and meet anyone online YET! 😀 (your mind is the greatest tool ever) use it wisely

I met AR from here..she turned out to be more beautiful and amazing than i said she was!

Yeah yeah yeah, shut the f--k up loverboy. 😛 Maybe the next one won't be like her. Maybe it'll seem like her online, but then, soon enough, it'll be some short, odd little fat man who threatens to stab holes in you and f--k them. I forgot to mention, that's one of the things the stalker guy said to me, and like 2 others. He acted like he's this amazingly powerful evil stalker guy... We all sort of laughed at him, cuz he's so short and pathetic looking. Lol.

You should be. You should become some paranoid that you start going by fake names, and then looking outside your window constantly because you think there's a car parked outside that's been watching your house for the FBI, and wear a tin foil hat so the aliens don't DESTROY YOUR BRAIN!!!!

I believe this is the root of the problem.

What I personally would have done at this point is gotten a dozen friends together and arranged a spy vs. spy. Make plans to meet the dude again, and then show up in the restaurant and have your friends fan out over the possible places he could be watching from and try to flush him out. It'd be like a giant pheasant hunt, only you don't take a shotgun to him. Or maybe you do, I didn't think that far ahead yet.
