A shift to what, exactly? Not even the thought police from Minority Report would bash in the door of some weirdo wanker just for being a weirdo wanker.
The worst thing about this attitude is that it does far more harm than good. A pedophile, again, is someone who wants to have sex with or sexually molest a pre-pubescent child. Freaking these kids out with alarmist "the ones making these requests are pedophiles!" comments creates an implicit sexual threat where none exists. The moment the word "pedophile" is uttered, the assumption is made that these videos are grooming kids for actual sexual exploitation down the line, which is totally off base. People who are into feet and tickling primarily want feet and tickling, and these desires are often quite divorced from typical sexual contact depending on the context.
Using terms like "child porn" and "pedophilia," puts videos of fully-clothed kids tickling each other, and the people who want to watch them, into the same category as those who have a severe mental illness and the barbaric materials they produce. It's fear mongering and entirely counterproductive to the real work my contemporaries and I do to combat actual dangers facing children every day.
All this thread tells me is that most people have no idea what real pedophiles are into. I urge anyone who disagrees with this post to please look into the following: John Wayne Gacy, Marc Dutroux, Christopher Neil, Mitchell Harrison, and Peter Whitmore. Then return here to discuss the depraved horrors of the child-tickling scourge.
Just a thought - the people making these requests could also be young kids of the same age who are trying to explore their newfound - but not necessarily understood - fetishistic interest, so it might not always be a case of pedophilia but for example maybe some 12-year-old who likes tickling and wants to see other 12-year-olds doing tickling. Not saying it's okay for these videos to be up because the internet is forever, and it could still fuel any desires of actual predators. We may never fully eliminate child abuse but we can at least put things in perspective. I'm more worried about the kid trapped in some psycho's basement being tortured to death than some kid being gotten off on on a YouTube tickling video. Ideally, I wish parents would pay closer attention to what their kids are doing on the internet, then maybe none of this would happen.
The Morality Police strikes. Who the hell are you to decide what everyone else should deem okay or not okay?If you think people masturbating to underage kids tickling each other in videos is at all okay, you're the one who needs a perspective shift.

If an adult masturbates to videos of a couple of 14 year old girls tickling each other, who is harmed by this? It would be different if the guy is stalking them or in some way pursuing some kind of real world fondling or sexual interaction, or even contacting them over the internet.
But in the privacy of their own homes, people have the right to beat off to whatever they find palatable on the Internet.
...so...
Am I the only one who thinks these kids are just fucking stupid?
I mean, yeah, grr and all that. It is disgusting.
But...I mean. Stupid children.
