I'm very very shy about it, so no, I'm not very open about it.

For a long time, I was ashamed of my fetish. I realized I had a tickling fetish when I was 16. I was very embarassed by it for a long time, thinking I wasn't "normal." I hid it like a skeleton for three years.

When I met the man I'm going to marry, it took me six months to gather the courage. And I really didn't say it. We were lying in bed, I was getting ready to head out, and I had my arms tucked behind my head and he began to tickle me softly (which feels SO DAMN GOOD by the way) and he saw I was loving it. I don't know how, but I managed to spit out the words. He smiled and tickled me relentlessly for 15 minutes, kissed me and told me that he thought that was beautiful.

My fiance does not have a tickling fetish (he actually squirms away from my hands on his ribs a lot, but loves to have his ears tickled oddly) but he has other fetishes of his own, so he could relate to what I had. 🙂 He also loves, loves, loves to hear me laugh. He tickles me constantly; I can barely go barefoot around him without him snatching one up and going to town. He knows how much I like it, how good it feels to me and well, he's an awesome tickler and was always very accepting of it.

Other than that, I never found a reason to tell anyone else. Maybe if it came up, and I trusted them enough, I would. I'm private about most things in my sex life, so I never really talk about it. Which is why I'm here, so I can actually talk about it with someone who understands. 😉
 
Certainly my lady friends are aware. Beyond that the only others might be those who enjoy this venue that seems to be nicely founded...
 
I finally told my wife about my fetish about 6 yrs into our marriage! The next day she filed for divorce ... 🙁

the only person I was ever open to about it is my girlfriend, she's not that ticklish really but she likes it cuz it turns me on. It's kinda scary to think about if anyone else found out about it, I guess I would feel like an outcast or something.

I don't know if I'd be able to just be open about it unless I told someone who decided to tell other people about it. I'd never deny my enjoyment of tickling, but I wouldn't necessarily volunteer that information.
 
yea, I was caught once by my mom while looking through TC video's website but she just pushed it out of her mind and never spoke of it again which is good. The last people I would want to know is my parents, their just too old fashion, they would never understand. As for my girlfriends or girls I've dated, they were always into trying new things, some they liked and some they didn't.

I am very "in the closet" about my fetish. Always have been, always will be. I have told a few online friends about it, but I have never let anyone I know in real life know about it. I may someday be able to, but I don't know. That's just such a big step. It is for me, anyway. Other people apparently have no trouble with it.
 
Well I've told a few of my friends and then one girl found out because she put the pieces together and realized it on her own. I don't really tell people cause I'm afraid they'll think I'm a freak or something. I did devolop a tickling fetish in one of my friends thanks to Howard Stern and his tickle chair. We ask each other if we would "Yaqi" a girl because that's the first episode of Howard Stern that contained tickling that we saw. Anyway that's about it
 
I dont share my fetish with family but I will share it with friends and others, I have found by doing so more people than not share the same fetish,as for the others who dont, oh, well, what other people think about me is none of my buisness!
 
no haven`t and I have been married for 15 yrs I think part of th excitement is the secretcy of it the alure of the forbiden working `outside the box` if you will..
 
but I can`t help but see that the majority polled seems to reflect a simular view.

I keep secret about it, people would think I'm even more of a wierdo than they already do if I said anythin! But if it makes ya all feel better I'll admit it to you 😛 ^^.
 
I don't feel the need to tell my friends or family since it's private. However if it looked like i was on my way to having a relationship with a female i would tell her upfront. I would probably need a few drinks though lol. It's not that i'm ashamed of my tickling fetish, i wouldn't hate to find out she's not ticklish or hates it.

Yes, well, apparently the majority of the U.S. polled for Bush (twice), and look what that's gotten us. 🙄

All I'm saying is that if you're in a relationship, a single secret can bring it all to the ground, mate. My advice is to not keep secrets from your loved one.
