Wish I could bring myself to be more open about it. I feel so embarrased though even when somebody just says the word in the same room as me!

That's nothing weird. I'm the same way. I keep thinking my reaction will give me away and skunk my luck.
 
I always remember on the back of the school bus in my sixth form, randomly a couple of them were talking about being tickled. One of them pointed to the other and said something like "she's impossible to tickle, she just not ticklish anywhere", at which this girl they were pointing at put on a really straight face and just looked out of the window. I always wondered if she was a tickle fetishist and that was her embarrased reaction, cause I think I do pretty much the same.

It's the bit of school that we do just before university. I think you call it "seniors". Its basically school at 17-18.

same here, and it was a trip too.
we were watching a Vegie tales and it got to a part where the king was sentencing the prisoners to the island of relentless tickling. my mind was racing and my girlfriend started teasing me about it cuz she's the only one that knows my fetish. I was trying to remain as calm as a budist

I'm not open about my fetish but I'd like to be.I'm really embarrassed about it but I'd love to share it with some of my friends but struggling to find a way to do that at the moment.so for now it's kept a secret.
 
If I'm in a situation that presents an opportunity to talk about my fetish I'll probably talk about it. It really never comes up in conversation unless its with a girlfriend, and I see no reason to bring it up otherwise.

I have been in a relationship for about a year and a half now and my girlfriend knows everything about my sexual persuasions and is open to them completely. Foot worship/tickling is never missed out during foreplay and she even sometimes asks me to tickle her feet during sex.
