I actually have three questions:

For me, this is a big question. I had really pulled back from the community, because I kept having run-ins with my friends here, and having... friction... because I had to sometimes do things that they didn't like. I had a lot of hostility directed at me, even by people who were close friends in real life.

And eventually, I started just withdrawing from being socially involved in the forum at all, it just wasn't worth the stress.

But over the last year, I've made some new friends here, and they've encouraged and nudged and bullied me into getting more involved again, and it's really been one of the best things that could have happened to me.

Honesty is the most important thing to me. I'm a really direct person, and a big part of the reason I've cultivated that trait is that it's how I want people to treat me. I want to know what my friends are really thinking, so I want to be friends with people I can count on to be honest about that.
