If this is for real, then I would suggest that you try attending a more "mainstream" Christian church. The denomination dosen't matter, so long as it's one that dosen't engage in judgmental, "holier-than-thou" BS. 🙄

Probably the second. Del is beginning to develop distinctly Speedoman-like qualities when it comes to personal communications. Like Speedoman, the best way to deal with it is completely ignore the senile ramblings he likes to put on the thread. If no-one actually acknowledged the prat's existence, then his enthusiasm would quickly dry up. It doesn't matter how logically you argue with him, his statements will just get longer and longer and more boring and pontificating.

Ummm, excuse me sir. But, since when does hallelujah mean anything other than praise the Lord. As for speaking through you...I think it's that other clown speaking through you, not the Lord. I've got a new handle for you, Del. "Heyoka". The Lakotah use it to refer to one who is contrary to everything around it. Fits you to a tee except for one thing...a true heyoka follows the path for the sake of the people, not for the sake of disturbing the balance, but for bringing balance.

Speedoman is the Nomme du Voyage for the main troll who nearly got the TMF chat room shut down. He was part of a small group of "professional" trolls (or so he claimed anyway), who actually used to work in concert to try and upset the place. He was also a computer whizz, who was capable of hacking through mainframes that used older versions of code. The TMF's java base and the new, protected chat room defeated him though. It was his fond hope that a password protected room would cause traffic to dry up, and the regular users to tire of each other. As luck would have it, he was as accurate about that as Del is about spirituality.

Proof that Del is a hypocrite

Del has been bashing other who are into tickling and calling it a "sin" and that how he is so much righteous and holier than anybody and everybody else. I called him a hypocrite, and I have proof.

well like the title said me and norb are looking into orginasing a tickling gathering in the UK. But first we wanted to see if anyone is intrested in this and if a gathering was done and depending on the dates weather anyone be intrested in attending.

We heard of mainly Josie (if you don;t know she that cool girl that did the tickle story on her website where you have to rescue princess josie). And we heard that these gathering can be fantastic and really enjoyable. And yes lots of talking and tickling well take place at this gathering.

of course we would need a mixture of both girls and boys lol so please if anyone intrested please replier under this.

omg, i just heard this same line 3 days ago, on the cable t.v.!(not the name ann though). it was on the old movie/series V. the priest, is talking to diana, the evil scientific leader of the aliens. he had given her a bible, she read it, they traded a few lines, and she killed him, lol.
gee del, i see we're both sci-fi fans. but i don't go stealing their lines, lol.

You're comparing me to Del, Joby-Wan? I like to think my arguments are at least backed up with with some circumstancial evidence. That's more than you can say about Bibular history, which isn't corroberated at all, outside of the Bible itself. What's freakish about that?

I was comparing his STYLE of posting with those of others as well. It is the mocking tone that I'm noticing. (I find humor in sarcasm.) Note though, I was thinking more of Amnesiac (and a couple of others) than I was of you, as he and I have an on-again off-again "fight" about his rantings. If you feel I was relating directly to you, be assured I wasn't. I may disagree with your beliefs, many of them, but it's your life and you have to believe whatyou wish. I do however, retain the right to dislike the way in which you state it at times. When I notice a mocking of such, I find a gentle smugness in my heart.

As far as people posting without responding to the thread in question, that happens alot around here. ESEPECIALLY in political and religious threads. People put a lot of one liner or 200 liner responses without ever addressing the issues touched by other members in the "discussion" even when questions and comments are posed directly to them.

Just my noticing a bunch of people getting upset that one indivudual went against their grain and they didn't like it. Where have I seen this before? 🙄 I just happen to find it entertaining this particular time. Sue me. 😛

When Del first started this, I thought it was a goof. Then, I wasn't sure. Then I thought he was serious. Now, I again think it's a goof. While it has been frustrating at different points, I think this led to some good exchanges between others. So, I don't have a big problem with it.

Whether or not Del's going off to be humorous or not, and whether or not he's takin' the piss outta folks here is for him t'say.

For a man who was, until recently, talkin' about gettin' folks together, I've not seen many better ways to create divisive behavior on this forum. Perhaps he wasn't around when the creator of this forum "found God" and proclaimed this whole interest to be a sin.

Regardless, this is sad, 'cause I've lost all faith in Del at present, and I so wanted SOMEONE to continue the effort of uniting our interest in the UK. And then there were two. Put that in the Book of Del.

Having first hand knowledge of the stresses that go with trusting our online compadres with tender topics, I can hear your tone via your written word. Don't be surprised, hon, as you well know, there are plenty of looney tooney folks who want to host gatherings! We're all "touched" you know.😉We're all on the fringe. I'm just not surprised when they fall off into the abyss. 😉 You're right...it is the Book of Del, and only he can tell. BUT...the bit of insight displayed under THIS screen name come from the Book of Jo. The chapter in which she is reminded that we shouldn't be tossing stones at our local crackpots until we can be sure those surrounding us are only dented. We both know we're all nuts. Them folk are members of gatherings, same as the others. Pickin' on anyone is a bad habit for a potential host. I don't respect it, and thus no longer respect him. I hope that changes. That would require correction on his part, though.

I'm not holding my breath. I hate being disappointed.
