It is worth double posting to note that the Dodgers broke the losing streak this afternoon.

In the least favorable situation, in the bottom of the 9th with two out and nobody on base, the Dodgers got:

a walk
a single, runners on first and second base
an RBI double to tie the score, 4-4, runners on second and third base
an intentional walk to load the bases
a game-winning RBI single

Final score: Dodgers 5, hated jints 4

This afternoon Pedro goes for #11 on the season. Mike Hampton 4-1 1.83 ERA goes for the Braves. Mets host the Braves in game 4 of this 10 game homestand at 1:10pm.

The Mets really hit the ball well against Mike Hampton as they pounded the Braves 8-1. The Mets are back at .500 as they await for Tuesday and the West Division lead San Diego Padres.

Took the lead in the top of the 10th inning, with 1 run.
Brazoban gave up two runs without getting any outs in the bottom.
