Wow, I didn't even notice you could run away after distraction. I assumed that rubbing her ears was the only right choice.

You could, fuck it I'll just make a copy off the game, delete the new stuff on it and put in a quick end chapter note.

Edit: 1.8 is up! Enjoy it folks, cause this one is the last update for this chapter! XD Now then, off to have a bath then return to creating a nefarious tickle trap for our poor, blonde heroine~ MWUAHAHAHAHAHA

Awwww.. I had thought that flipping the switches in the wrong order would do something "bad" xD
Also, if you don't move down directly, and move back up and then down to where the thief had been standing, the event repeats, but this time... The thief is invisible! 😵

It should game over you when you pass by the tablet thing on the wall.

That's exactly what I was about to say!!

Also quick update on Chapter 2 Progress: Gonna have a week or so off. Going back to my Uni Course next week and I received some news this evening that's hit the family pretty hard... So for the sake of quality (I know, laughable given how the last release went) I'm gonna have a few weeks off to get my head back together.

Take all the time you need, Wizard. Life's more important than silly tickle games. That being said, I'm sure we'll all be happy to hear once you get back on the next chapter. The most recent was fun, and I enjoyed the traps. Now if I could just get at those other sculptures...

Everybody really seems to like the idea of getting at those other statues... Ah well, I hope that one of the puzzles in the next upcoming chapter will entertain you statue enthusiasts!

I've been playing, but I cannot get past the librarian! I found two of the four orbs then she just catches me!

You only need 1 orb. When you go to leave, you choose one of the 4 orbs to use. As you'd imagine, 3 lead to game overs.

It is possible to get all 4 orbs, but it's tricky, and requires some luck.

Like Mr Trag said, You need only one! I'm pretty sure I put something about only one orb being safety on the plaque in the library

Huh. The game sounds pretty good.

Can't wait to play it.

...

...

Okay, it's downloaded and installed.

...

...

Imma play Skyrim for a bit.

& do this one tomorrow.

...

Hmm...

I think I need to work on the order in which I do things.

I'm sure you'll play it one day!

Anyhoo, Update time!

Been doing a small bit of work on the game when I've had the chance (this entry course thing has been a bit cray-cray) so I'm making steady progress. Fortuntly enough, I finished that course by handing in the last assignment which gives me a whooooole week of free time.... So guess who's getting more work done on them? That's right! Miley Cyrus!!! Well.... probably is, chick's gone damn mental but forget her, my game is getting more work invested into it! I'll start with "investing just about every waking hour" into the game after I've watched this weeks AHWU Minecraft.

I (kind of) said it before, and I'll say it again: you're doing a great job TW. I wish more people made games like this. The one problem I have with most tickling games is they all tend to have the same generic rpg gameplay, and no matter how much I want to continue, it gets boring, repetitive and grindy (which isn't helped by the large difficulty curve most have)

While this, meanwhile, has a much greater focus on text, but unlike a visual novel, has actual gameplay as well, with some measure challenge, which gives a bit more immersion then a visual novel.

Wow, thanks bud! As I've said before, I've based this game on a lot of those survival horror style games made with RPG Maker (Ib, Witch's House, Mad Father, etc.). Hell, I was tempted to implement a system like Ao Oni at one point with some beasty chasing you down and you having to hide from them every now and then... Yeah that script does not translate as well to VX Ace XD I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually though. It's kinda funny for me with this one: though I'm still working on it and coming up with plenty idea for it, my brain has been giving me some pretty awesome ideas for games to work on after this.... which I probably will after this game is done and dusted!

Another Update: I'm making quite good progress for this and should have it ready to be sent off to my beta tester by the end of the week! So who knows, maybe they'll be a release by next week! Also here's a fun fact: I've got a scene that I planned up and created the day I finished the last patch... I still have yet to write the game over for it! I've got a rough blueprint as to what will happen seeming as it's a big point for this chapter, but for the life of me I can't write up a game over for it I'm happy with! I've gone on since there and have 2 more rooms finished... I'll get the game over eventually, just for now I'm gonna work on the next big thing for this chapter!

Small update on progress:

Very close to the end! I've just got to finish about 3 more rooms then it'll be done and ready for Mr Beta to test! Currently working on another game room that I know will have you fans cheering~ I'm so proud of myself for this idea and I really can't wait to get it out to see the reception it gets. Anyhoo, back to scripting out Lucy's unfortunately ticklish fate and rocking out to my tunes!

Nothing quite like a game creator that loves his work. Looking forward to it.

OK a quick update with for you guys:
I am still aiming to get it up and out this week, but I must be honest: I haven't done any work on it since Sunday.... I was trying to program something really fun and clever that ultimately... turned into an utterly frustrating time sink. I've decided to cut it out, but I've felt so burned out that I haven't quite been in the state of mind I prefer to be in to write out the game overs like I do.

So long story short: I've taken a few days break to try and get my head back together. I will endeavor to have the game finished by tomorrow and ready for testing! As for that room.... I'll figure out a way to get it working and weasel it into a later update.

I know how you feel about being burned out, I remember when I was fiddling with rpg maker ace and I made a game just for my friend. I probably made about a 35-1 hour game, I worked on it for about 3 days and after I finished it it burned me out and I haven't touched it since. I can't wait for your next update 🙂

Right so I'm watching Labyrinth with a friend of mine (She's never seen it before). Anyway, it's given me a great idea of a way to finish off this chapter... But it'll take me a few more days to make it since they'll be a fair amount to script and it'll require a few more custom sprites. Reason I'm asking this is, I want to get a verdict from you guys: are you ok waiting maybe an extra week for the game? Or would you rather I just kept with the simplish ending room thing I have mapped out? (Yeah I know I was gonna try get the game finish yesterday.... but stuff came up and I had to go cheer up a friend, hence why I'm say round hers now watching Bowie strut his stuff!)

Dude...you're making the game. YOU call the shots. If you want to add extra content to the next chapter, that's your choice. We can wait a little longer.

You're damn right I do! But I figured I should be nice and I did promise you lot a release this week... So I wanted to just make sure I wasn't gonna upset anyone... On another note, started work on the new ending area anyway. I can't wait to get round to doing the sprite work... especially for a certain character I can't wait to make~
