Tower of Gargalesis (Tickling RPG M/F, F/F, F/M)

soo i've beat calypso already, found the next path in the maze where you 1st start....but idk what the answer is to the riddle. anyone got that far to know?
the riddle is this:

"I have bilions of eyes yet i live in darkness. i have millions of ears yet only four lobes. I have no muscles yet i move two hempispheres. what am i?"

If the billions of (optical and auditory) neurons in your brain fail you, google is always your friend. =)
 
I just discovered a bug with feather bugs. When they call for help, the become sensitized. If you beat them before the effect wears off, the timer on the effect keeps going and makes an image of them reappear when it says they get over the giggles, despite the fact they are already defeated. Not a gamebreaker definitely, but I just thought I'd mention it. It also seems to prevent the third feather bug from summoning helpers, so I was also thinking this may have been intentional so the battle couldn't go on forever.
 
Going along with this feather bug....bug....I noticed something odd on the march of the ants (I think that's the name, the one where you rescue Tammy's friends in the forest.) quest.

I believe it was the second ant encounter when this odd thing happened. There's three ants that pop up when you go to fight them. Well after downing the first of the three ants, (Which are rather weak since there are three, so it was a one shot deal.) out of no where the younger fox sister from the Tower appears in it's place.

This actually happened a while ago but I just now thought about posting it, since it's not that bad of a bug because it happened during an easy encounter. I'll see if I can get it to happen again just to be sure when, and during what encounter it happens, but she definitely popped up in a battle she shouldn't have been in lol.
 
@quark: thanks for the advice! I was able to complete the goblin challange because of your advice with one try! As for the mushroom challenge, im still trying to complete it. This is VERY hard.
 
The trick with the mushroom one is to memorize every single location after a couple of runthroughs and above all else: run like hell

Thanks, figured this one out just reading it, I'll fix it asap.

Sorry for no updates in a while, been (surprise) busy and just drained mentally. I've got a five hour break tomorrow, I'll see if I can get the update finished then.

Also, anyone who plays League of Legends, feel free to PM me, I'm so addicted to this game it isn't even funny anymore.
 
Just remember to not get too sucked into league of legends. If you start to shirk your job for it, that's when you get out of the game. I know because it happened to me twice with games online back when I was in college.
 
Ok. Finally got a chance to download the update and take it for a spin. It's been a while, so I've half-forgotten a lot of the stuff in here. Took a go at Mammona with my thief (what's all this Shin Mammona business? Should I not be tackling her yet?), and found it nigh impossible with my thief, but Spaz was plodding along just fine. Unfortunately, the game breaks once she loses her abilities. So, waiting on that update.

Awesome to see any progress going on Deus's part. Slowly trying to take a Ranger through this time. I love the opening hedges area, and all the new content. Of course, I can't wait for Ch. 4 to roll out. It sounds fantastic. Phantasmagoric, even.
 
DUDE! i love how you used Kujas theme for that one Mamono That keeps fucking with you in the tower. dont know its name yet. But also the sfx in the Ramshackle house are awesome. Boo house music, plus Kekfa's laugh=win 🙂
 
also what the fuck am i supposed to do with the medallions? honey bee said something about them and challenges on the second floor but im not seeing any of that.
 
I found another thing which may be a bug, but also may be just because you haven't gotten to it yet, deus. I found your easter egg of a log in the forest. After the cut-scene it said "bonus scene unlocked" or something like that, but when I talked to honey bee about the scenes, she said they weren't available. Just wanting to let you know just in case it was a mistake.

Also, I've gotten three of the medallions and completed their three challenges. But I don't know where to find the fairy medallion, and as far as I know, I have looked all over both in the game and through this thread, and i still don't know where to find it. Could anyone please give me some help on the subject? I would be most appreciative if you could.

Bonus scenes are just not ingame yet. 🙂

As for the fairy medallion I'd love to help you but I can't remember for the life of me. Did you check out the bar and fairy forest? (Enter the woods from the west side) I have a feeling it was in either of those places, but like I said I'm sadly not sure anymore.

I believe you have to talk to the boat captain in the bar to start the fairy medalion quest line and you have to rescue the sailor that's in the forest from the left entrance.
 
Also Deus, i simply LOVE this game. Not only does it appeal to my tickling fetish but it also keeps me thoroughly entertained as a game. Personally i think you have a great rpg here. dont give up on it!
 
okay what the fuck, i have been fighting Mammona on DWtD mode for 2 hours now, ive calculated all the damage i have done to her and it i exactly 10221. TEN THOUSAND! is this her correct health? or is the game bugging out on me?

I don't remember her total hp but if you want to know her hp left, just do tickle/target/any tickle zone/ then shift. it will show you the total hp left from the total. Although there are no numbers its still better then nothing.

Thanks a lot man! That's what I had to do, I couldn't see the sparkly quest maker before cause of all the weird colors going on in the bar. XD
 
For any of you that are running or plan to run a thief: I've found that maxing your targeting skill makes everything quite doable and relatively efficient in terms of item usage and speed of battles. Getting the +6 proficiency from the outsider skill tree will further increase your damage output to compliment this as well. This makes me wonder how a Slayer will fare if I try this.
