Tower of Gargalesis (Tickling RPG M/F, F/F, F/M)

stock up on every healing item you can get for starters, also depending on your class keep an eye on what form she switches to. It takes some trial and error, but there is a pattern to see and use against her

I noticed when she goes into "Gemini" her under arms are her only weakness. what about her other forms and her lvl?

I believe you should find the other stances weaknesses by yourself since their easy to find.

On another note, I dunno if it's been posted already but the third time on Calypso has a bug. Her stances change well until capricorn. When she changes stance to another one she keeps the capricorn weakness instead of changing it and keeps it until she goes back to sagittarius where she gets the normal weakness and then back to capricorn where she bugs.

Sorry, seems its already been anounced. Should've read the last couple of pages before.

Just to add to what eternal said if you don't feel like finding out on your own, Abadon posted some zodiac signs together with their weakness some 5 pages prior.

I'm not entirely sure if you can leave the red chaos until you beat her, so if you don't have enough healing items or levels it might be troublesome. x.x Calypso's min level for the first fight is 3.

When you fight calypso, always save on a separate file just in case of emergency. That way if there is a problem you can start new again and build up on supplies.

Personally, I make fantastic use of all 99 saves. Whenever I save, I do it in a new file. If you save more than 99 times, just go back to slot 1 and start overwriting.

Procella makes a PROMPT about saves at the beginning of the game. You should already be using multiple slots, given the type of game this is (not finished mainly). If you're not, then good game to you.

I was doing this like a champ before traveling to any major quest, but I was so excited when I answered all the questions to reach the second calypso fight that I accidentally saved over my main save. That save was my only one since escaping the second floor -_-'

Does anyone have any advice for a mage on their second battle with calypso? I'm at level 7 with lvl 3 feather flames, lvl 1 ice, and lvl 1 earth for spells. 248 stamina, 61 adrenalin, 10 OJs, 17 Apple Juices, 14 energy drinks, 5 hathor's milks, and no fruit 🙁

I have 2 skill points in each of overflowing stamina and adrenalin pool, with 3 skill points to place.

I tried topping out my stamina and adrenalin, and bringing ice up to level 2 to fight her, but I was making incredibly slow progress. My regular attacks hit for around 23-28 with the reduced stats, though my flame attack was around 200 when my stats weren't drained. I played out a battle until I ran out of energy drinks (since she drains adrenalin) and eventually she started to heal herself for around 130, which she did often enough to almost nullify my regular attacks.

My question to the greater players of this fine game would be this- Is it possible to use those three skill points to win the battle? If not, I'll go back and play through again, but any advice for mages in the future would be awesome. I could drag her down the first time using physical attacks and blasting her when the opportunity arised, but now that I spend most of my time with no adrenalin and reduced stats, I feel like there's got to be some other way to push past her debuffs and healing. I found her weaknesses for physical attacks, but I could only find fire and ice amongst her current signs.

I've now learned that I don't make good choices at 4 in the morning 🙁

Edit- I just dumped the 3 points to boost proficiency to see if that could save me. The twins tome told me it would increase by 6, but in my stats it went from 20->23.

I now deal 70 damage per attack, and 40 damage with reduced stats (which is most of the time).

With the mage, tickle wisp will be your friend since it is non elemental. Also calypso will have moves to suck your adrenaline dry so having a couple levels for outsider to make your normal tickles stronger doesn't hurt

You shouldn't be using regular attacks as a mage imo. I just use the pub to get all the apple juice I need, and then spend all my coins on coffee. This gives you nearly unlimited health and mana (adrenalin).

You really don't need to buy any flasks from that guy in the tower as a mage, unless you want some jolt flasks as the jolt spell is a ways away. This basically means you will have a butt load of coins and essence, which with the current cost of rank 3 skills, and the drains, should be spent on coffee/energy drinks, since that is what all mage dps runs off of.

/wall of txt off

EDIT: I would avoid the adrenalin boosting talent until Deus releases the update, as all it will do is increase the cost of your spells. However putting one point in shouldn't cause any problems, it's just a talent that could go elsewhere for much more benefit. This, and using the pub for juice and the shop for coffee, is all you need to do really as a Mage to pwn the living daylights out of everything in DWTD mode.

Tickle Wisp didn't hit Calypso at all for me, not sure if I am just unlucky or what, but that spell was worthless on her for me.

Thanks for the advice shadowscurse, I assumed the rising mana costs were due to just me leveling up or me leveling my spells, so I'll be sure to avoid that second point in my new play through. I'll start working my way back tonight and try to power through those last three quests. I was intending to buy lightning flasks beforehand (along with more fruit) but I was excited to try a test run to figure out her new signs. With lightning flasks I'll have three good signs to attack her on, and one won't even require adrenalin.

I'm really sorry to be a pain in the butt, but I may have found a bug. Whenever I use Spaz against Mamonna it eventually gets to a point where Spaz can't use any of her offensive options. Tickle, Goblin skill, and dismiss are all unselectable, which effectively stops the game.

Bug reports are always good, so nothing to apologize for imo. 🙂 This is because of Mammona's Silence ability. Deus knows about it and it will be fixed in the next update I assume.

*Gets to work on part 3 calypso zodiac weakness list*
Edit: Hm it seems to randomize, is there a good way to beat her as a thief?

What do you mean randomize? It shouldn't, every aura has one or more fixed weakness from what I can tell. maybe you ran into the Capricorn bug?
As for Thief I'm not sure if there's a specific strategy...Haven't played that far with my thief I'm afraid. I guess lots and lots of healing items and some flasks? But you're experienced enough to know that yourself, I just lack better advice to give. 🙂

hm, sounds like a very ambitious project.

Tell me does your tower storyline bare any resemblance or inspiration to the tower series on the Kusuguri.kir site?

I'm a writer myself, though I haven't posted anything here, I like to consider myself well versed in how to write detailed, intense tickle torture scenes, and rather creative with monster girls, lers and creative situations, but not bondage unfortunately.

Anyway that was sort of an impromptu resume, really i do find this project interesting and am willing to lend a helping hand as best i can.

I can not access your website (the site you have mentioned above).

Actually it changed when I went through the whole line of zodiacs once.

...Are you sure that's not just the capricorn bug where she keeps that weakness until you get to Saggitarius again?

There's no logical reason for it to randomize.

Weaknesses should be as follows: (when not encountering the capricorn bug.)

I'd use a spoiler tag but TT doesn't have one sadly.

---------SPOILER---------------

Gemini: Underarms/Lightning
Cancer: Knees/Ice
Leo: Neck/Fire
Virgo: Thighs
Libra: Knees
Scorpio: Hips/Darkness
Saggitarius: Belly/Light
Capricorn: Ribs

Hm, I'm going to make another run again and see if lightning strikes twice for my thief.

Edit: just my imagination

Challenges of Gargalesis

I need help! i still stuck at the Goblin challenge and the mushroom challenge! Anyone please help! i have been trying to complete this for 4 days straight!!! please?

Giggle Goblins as a whole are weak to Belly Tickles IIRC, spam that, but if it get blocked too often, switch to Underarms or any other target. Even the Goblin Challenge will seem like piddle once you've beaten it once.

The Mushroom Challenge is tight, that's for sure. What's getting you stuck? As in, where's the herbs or what do I do, or there's not enough time? Let's break this down in case any of these are right.

Where's the herbs?
They're small. Look for something that's just not there before you start the Knismeshroom Challenge.

What do I do?
Walk right up to them and press Enter.

There's not enough time!
Yes there is. Barely, but there is. I suggest doing the challenge again, and remember where the herbs are. That's what I do. And for the love of the Outsider, RUN. Don't walk. RUN.

Also, something Honey Bee said and is right: if you manage to dodge the goblin atack and get her foot, it will deal more damage than a belly atack.
