Dumbo Question #3....to be announced....i'm positive i'll have one soon......:lol

Quick Top Five List....best tickle scenes.....imho
1. Losing the pub game:drool
2. Beaten by Beezelbebe:drool
3. First waitress/show scene😱
4. Lady Venus teasing:blush
5. Beaten by Knismeshroom🙂

Again...wonderful job..thank you for your efforts, they are appreciated

Hmm...if i'm right, i have an interesting bug in my wersion. Every boss a meet have immortality, or something...Yes you can laugh, but i beat mamonna about 20-25 mins and nothing. I've dealt 10x more damage than she's supposed to have. The same thing with bug queen. I've dealt her about 5k damage and surrendered - anybody have an idea what's goin on?

Mammona is unbeatable the first time you fight her. The Feather Bug Queen won't submit unless you defeat her two soldiers first. Apparently, if you get her into KO range before killing her soldiers, she also won't submit.

Shrine of Gargalesis is West of the clearing where you met Honey Bee.

Cave of Promised Eternity is south of the village. If you have the Vow of Eternity, walk between the two trees that form a "gate" and a cutscene will trigger.

Tysm, Deus...i figured both out about 30 minutes after posting:lol...had a bad case of the Impatients......

Ìt`s part of the snow maiden quest. You get it from Silver and you then use it to access the cave of promised eternity where the sliding puzzle is.

THX for tips, in case of Bug Queen i killed her bodyguards before, and that wasn't the trick. But restart and fight again did it.

But, i have another trouble, in room with sliding puzzle, I uncloak this hidden rope ladder...but cant use it, i step on it and nothing. :huh

Its probably not finished yet... We will have to wait patiently. Poor Deus... he can't keep up with our craving gaming standards in amount, but I would like to solemnly thank him for effort in quality he is giving 🙂

Sorry, I'm in a bit of a pickle and it's been hard finding time to work. I may be able to do some stuff tomorrow but...no promises.

I do have to say that...since everyone seems to like the class specified stuff (why not? It was one of the selling points), I'm thinking of going back and revamping the generic game overs or something. I haven't decided which ones I'm going to add class specifications to, but I'm going to do something...

Are you sure it's wise to do that? Yes, having class and gender specific scenes would make the earlier chapters more fun (to lose) and increase replay value, but wouldn't it also take away creativity and focus from building the story we already have? That's not to say it's a bad idea, I'm just wondering if it'd be more efficient to get the actual maps and gameplay done first while still in the beta stages and then going back and revamping everything else once the framework's down. Unless you're just going to make minor tweaks to the game over dialogue, this would amount to coming up with twelve game over screens per Mamono multiplied by at least 18 official Mamono in the Codex; it'd come down to making 216 new individual game overs. And we're only 4 stages in out of the 11 (including the Prologue) so I'm assuming there's more Mamono coming up.

I don't know, I'm just concerned that you might actually use up great material for the game over screens that could be used somewhere else in the main game...

Revamping things is cool for sure but I can't wait to see how the next intsallment plays out. I noticed that after the last update after you defeat honey bee no longer triggers the cut sceen. which im hoping is just a glitch because thats one hell of a sceen!

I can't wait to see the romance material. I am especially looking forward to the Hathor line. Keep up the good work!

Love the game really impressive.
Just wondering if anyone can help me a little with a couple of things.

1. I'm having trouble trying to get the snow maidian quest to work. I did the bug mission and THEN got the vow.

2. Also im stuck on the "wheres the Cuckoo egg" mission. I chose not to help the fairy ealier on in the game and now can not finish the mission or is there another fairy somewhere else lol.

Again great game, lookiing forward to seeing the finished verison 😀

If you didn't help the fairy, you're out of luck. I do think that the quest shouldn't trigger at all if the fairy is gone, though. That should be considered a bug, we don't want a bunch of hanging quests if we're particularly unlucky or are poor decision makers.

Damn I thought so 🙁
Oh well it just goes to show that it doesn't pay to be evil lol 😛

Fixed

Also I'll tweak that quest somehow, but frankly I don't intend for everything to be possible (short of bosses) for everyone in every playthrough. Some of your choices WILL lock out content. For example: Chapter 10 can be completely locked out if you don't complete a series of side quests that become available over the course of the game. I'll have leads and shit pointing toward them, but if for whatever reason you don't finish them and you defeat the Spirit of Gargalesis, you will be locked out of Chapter 10 and get a less rewarding ending.

I mean...part of the game is deciding who the Outsider is. And not every incarnation of the Outsider is going to have the same experience. It's meant to be played through more than once to fully unlock everything (I'll be creating a New Game+ of sorts that will eventually allow you to unlock everything in a Bonus Dungeon after the game is over, so everything can be viewed at once, just not all unlocked in one playthrough).

I have a question about the monsters you used. How did you convert them to RPG Maker format, so they didn't have a solid color background and blended into the background of the battle map?

two questions:

1) where does the chuckoo egg quest begin. ( yes i saved the fairy and she just continues to offer healing but nothing else)

2) how did i miss a golden hairbrush? wheres that jewel laying around at?

Thanks in advance

1. I do believe it starts in the bar once you've completed all the side quests of chapter 2

2. Was it one of the fox girl mini-bosses before bebe that gave you the hairbrush? I let them go so i dunno if it applies if you were bad karma on them.

hmm talked to everyone in the bar again and nothing. i had a couple of quests spawn there but no luck. if you get a chance plz peek in your journal and see what the first entry was in that quest. and as far as letting one of the fox girls go....why for the love of god would I do that LOL ok on that one it looks like im done like dinner but thanks anyway. * mummbles about me and my bad karma *

sorry to be a hassle, would you be kind enough to put the new one on rapidshare too, for the sake of those of us living behind the great firewall of China? I must apologise for not furnishing you with the full review promised. tbh i can't think of much to say except for "it's great!". this has actually led to me starting a project of my own, though who knows what will come of it.

I'll be adding it to rapidshare as soon as Chapter 3 is complete, so that I won't have to frustrate everyone with the hassle of updating two source links.

To start the trade quest, you need to complete all of the quests in Chapter 2, as stated above. To do this first you need to complete:

In any order - The Sailor and the Fairy, A Fungus Among Us, Hide N Seek, Goblin Raid, Cow Tipping

After those are complete you should be able to access "The Knismesis Pub" quest, which is obtained by talking to the bar keeper.

After completing that (if I'm not mistaken, don't have the source file), a star should appear above Mack's head to start the quest. Mack is the old man from The Old Codger's Chores. For what it's worth, he's Megan's (the little girl in front of the pub) grandfather, and the father of the man who's wife you rescue in "Mother Where Art Thou?".

The Golden Hairbrush is a gift item given to you by the Gitchinari Fox if you let her go. It does nothing as of this point.

@ FAMILydude - That's a great idea, I'll add it in a final version.

karma

I have a quick idea about karma. You have most lkely already thouhght of this, but since you said that you were familiar with fallout 3 then couldnt you add a "You gained good Karma/Bad Karma" after making a decision or finishing a quest?

i had to go back a save because silver's ice quest was already started, but then it worked like a charm. (all he says is "..." once the quest begins) did i read somewhere that the honey bee dialog moved forward after the second floor of the tower was cleared? I recalled at one point with one of my older chars once you beat her the second time she drops her honey pot and a cut sceen was triggered. ( not her necter the one that becomes an ability that drains mana to heal) was that cut out in later vers?
