Just to update, i've done the fifth page, but i'm going to complete a sixth because it sets up the next encounter nicely, so i'll be uploading SIX pages of busty, bouncy and slippery fun on Tuesday or Wednesday. I also have another couple of crossover pieces in the works, but they might be along a while later.

Update: Upload will be tomorrow, after writing the dialogue this evening. I had planned to get everything done for today but yesterday I went on a trip to Bristol with a couple of friends and didn't get back until midnight. Lovely city though. One friend wants to use it as a setting for a book, and I remember writing in one of the interviews that Lucy wanted to study music there and thought i'd check it out as well as visit just because i'd never been; splendid architecture like Bath, but with a buzz and a cosmopolitan edge, as well as Brunel's Clifton suspension bridge and SS Great Britain, although I never saw the venue where a young David Prowse worked as a doorman (he's from the area). A part of me wishes i'd had the girls grow up there rather than Bournemouth, then they could've been the 'Bristols from Bristol'(it's Cockney rhyming slang). It's a lot nicer as a city, but Bournemouth isn't too bad, has a beach and pier, and the west country accents aren't too strong.

At long last!

Here are pages 28-31 of Fish Tales (two more to follow). the colouring improves a little around page 30 because of adjustment to some of the tools on my software, namely the block filling, so there should be a crisper, cleaner look to most panels. it's also helped speed the process up because i'm not wasting time on cleaning up scanned lines prior to colouring.

Hope you guys enjoy them.

Pages 32 and 33.

This sets up the last encounter of the adventure.

There will another hiatus as I draw the next several pages but I do plan to finish the story for Christmas, and then add to my Mcfeely comic while finishing writing out Pandemonium at Prickly Hills, which will be an epic of an origin comic.
 
Holy sweet sanctimonious lord. Those pages were fantastic, really the erotic energy in the scenes was palpable from our computer screens alone, if only to be there lol. Also I don't think I've said before but your creature designs are really imaginative, that prawn was really a joy to look at with all the writhing tendrils and maws, top knotch dude.
 
The mighty mollusk rises! Crazy as I am for cephalopods, this latest development excites all my happiest expectations! The score will soon stand eight against three (unless the approaching leviathan is a squid, in which case spot him two more), making the oversized, mucus-spewing brine shrimp, oysters, and anemones appear as minnows in comparison! High marks for all the Lovecraft referencing! This present R'lyeh may not feature all the off-kilter housing (rather, it has the clean, circular simplicity of a Roman amphitheater), but no version has ever received comelier visitation! Some nice slip-n-slide action as well, to compliment the usual squirmy delights of bulbous, rubbery probing and glistening skin-tones! With the Fox sweeties pestered to and past the point of distracted arousal, gigantic tentacles have found their ideal cue for entry! What and how far they plan to enter is something we're all dying to discover!

Thanks for the compliments Arron. I do have fun with creature designs in both tk and non-tk art, because I grew up on monster movies and I suppose the potential for what could happen in my furtive fantasising was realised while watching Galaxy of Terror, when the somewhat Lucy-like Damiea faces her worst fear in one of those quite ropey but unbelievable moments in cult sci-fi. This is combined with an A-level in biology so I do like to look at real biology, especially marine and invertebrate life, for inspiration. There were several ideas that haven't made it, but may appear in other adventures where water or ponds resurface, and i'm sure Barbara would demand they do; Her curiosity is insatiable.
There is of course the mild precursor to the Damiea scene in Fantastic Voyage, where a Babs-esque Raquel Welch is surrounded and inundated with antibodies that look a bit like translucent seaweed. That is a straight-up imperilment and the crew have to rush to save her, although I think one of them just keeps going for the antibodies over her chest. I would've had the scene end differently, but it would make the film unreleasable.:rolleyes

The Prawn/shrimp/arthropod was a bit complex but a new idea that hadn't appeared in the original ring-bound version of this story, the same with the clam/gastropod or the tube worms. I think it replaces the silly idea of water fleas from the old one. They were originally a ruse to get Barbara out of her contour suit

Thanks LBH. I can't say which but you've narrowed it down to two possibilities and one is correct. To be honest, I never really made my mind on what Babs was facing there, just that it needed to be big, squishy and have tickling polyps inside. It also ejaculates a fluid responsible for those aromas in the earlier panels and turns to a gum-like residue. I think my thoughts were a little freewheeling on that and felt the image of Babs looking down and smiling at her cleavage adorned with globs of fluid was going to happen at some point (it's occured so often in my most febrile moments...ahem), so that was the rationale of getting that in there.

I thought that was appropriate given Oswald is senior lecturer (not Prof. as he claims) in literature at Prickly Hills and he'd have some references to Lovecraft in a building filled with blobby, tentacled things. I also learned how to spell Cthulhu for these panels.:blush
It doesn't matter a great deal for people who don't get it; The girls don't either. I'm just a hopeless nerd with referencing! The origin story is set at a university, so sometimes the references may be obscure to people (I like details), but again the girls are in the same boat. The faculty can be quite arcane and out-of-touch with their young students, and I want to reflect that beyond exposition, albeit to comic effect (the doc's frequent misinterpretations of pop culture as something from the cultural canon; Usher being something to do with Poe, The Prodigy is confused as Mozart, having no idea what The Star Wars is etc.) It works the other way as it's not just high culture but more recent, niche or avant-garde stuff that I put references to, like a particular song that Lucy might be singing, including seventies/eighties music, although perhaps not to the disruptive extent that Seth McFarlane uses them.

They are quite hefty tentacles and despite the appetites of the girls, I don't think they are quite the size queens where they can accomodate such girth, but there will be a fair amount of tentacle action, just not that sort. The suckers alone could smother their more intimate areas.

Cheers deet'. They're getting more turned on so they may not be too inhibited for their final encounter. I always planned for this one to be a bit more welcome than the finale of Avian Oddity, which you may recall was met by some degree of horror.

Sorry I have been working long hours lately and haven't found much time or energy to dedicate to the comic, but I haven't stopped thinking about the characters. Weekends have been pretty busy as well, so a christmas completion date might be optimistic. I hadn't had much work for a while and now I have a few weeks I have to take it.

You're all good guys for staying loyal during my absences but i'm sure you all appreciate that sometimes tickling art falls down the long list of priorities.

If only Patrick Magee was alive to give voice to the Doc', especially If channelling Burgess' author surrogate character Frank Alexander from A Clockwork Orange; FOOD AL-RIGHT?... TRY THE WINE! (the doc's first name happens to be Frank). Him or Richard Griffiths in full Uncle Monty deranged old lecher mode, albeit heterosexual this time.

Sorry to have been absent for so long (again) but i've had a lot of distractions recently (work and family stuff). I have been trying to get back into my tickling art and over the last weekend coloured four and drawn five new pages. Hopefully tonight I can finish the four coloured pages and upload them tomorrow. It's taken a bit longer because of the detail i've tried to put in, but mostly this latest hiatus has been because I've never found myself in the mood to do tickling art or just other worries.
