You reported Skip's post. One of the things she called you was a "shit stirrer/starter".
Jeff called you a shithead.
You called Jeff out.
You stirred shit.
... Muhhh ... Doesn't that make Skip's comment a valid one and actually not an insult?
You can't pre-emptively call someone a shit stirrer because you think they may act become a shit stirrer in the future. It doesn't work like that.
sorry to disagree ray, but i was called a troll and a shit stirrer by skip, and then when i reported this to a mod i got a mail from jeff calling me a sithead and then i publicly called jeff out
No one can take your seriously. Where you go, shitstorms tend to follow. People get very angry at the things you say.
I would recommend, being that you are the common denominator in these situations, that you take a step back. Stop posting in threads. Take a few days, a few weeks, a few months, however long it takes for you to try an examine the way you interact with people, off of the forum. Relax.
Come back in a while, a new man, and try again, and maybe people will be more willing to listen to what you have to say.
Trust me. I've been there.
GR Violation, non-GR, just an opinion, blah blah fucking blah. You'll never own up to the faults you've made because you seek to justify every word you make. That's your prerogative. But don't get bent when people call you on your shit.
But you've stirred shit in the past.
Well perhaps.
But she could have said it more delicately, given my well-known inclination to fly off the handle at the slightest personal criticism

While name-calling of any sort isn't condoned, that you "fly off the handle at the slightest personal criticism" isn't an excuse at all; rather, it's an admission of a major problem that you really need to work through before you think of posting anything controversial. It's like the P&R forum: if you can't take serious and heated disagreement with what you say in P&R, we strongly advise you to stay out. Same thing here; if you can't or don't want to handle criticism, don't post something that will even have a chance of inviting it.Well perhaps.

Yeaaaah - let me just walk on eggshells so you don't have to bother controlling yourself. Lord knows I wouldn't want the blame for you flying off the handle to fall on my shoulders.Well perhaps.

I just went back and read that thread.
You had the audacity to turn what was a member's support thread into attempting to tell the owner of the forum what to say?
What the fuck is wrong with you?
Here's something constructive. Stupid, Simple or Slow?
Yeaaaah - let me just walk on eggshells so you don't have to bother controlling yourself. Lord knows I wouldn't want the blame for you flying off the handle to fall on my shoulders.
Bullshit. Take responsibility for what you say and do.
Wow, thisis a hugh thread for only being up for about 6 hours. I do not understand the extent of the infraction in question [as I have not ready the original problem] and I was only able to get to #24 in this thread. [the negative banter back and forth was too much for me since I am not involved]. 😉
Since I am trying to be more active here lately I figured I would add my two cents as well. Reguardless of what happened or who misunderstood what, the solution is simple.
Babyshambles, if you are unhappy here with the people that are core members and they are making your lurking on this site unpleasent why do you honestly come back [or at least comtinue to post anything]. I am not taking sides with anyone, I am simply trying to cut to a root solution. If I had a place I went regularly and no one there really wanted me around and I was not really happy when I was there, I would just stop going there and try to forget that place and those people.
From what it sounds like, they are not banning you from the site so if you still want to be here by all means lurk on. However if no one really wants to hear your opinions then why try to force others to do so. [Espescially online, it is a loosing battle] At the end of the day the people online are not in your life [unless you are lucky enough to actually meet them in person regularly] so why let them bring you down more than you seem to be already.
Again I am not taking sides just trying to add so various helpful thoughts from various philosophies.
I would like to finish by saying.............HI EVERYONE!!!!

The blatant ignorance annoys me.
Despite the shield of an internet, it reminds me I have to share a form of society with folks like that.
