Meh. I'll consider it. The main issue I'm feeling right now is the depression at the possibility that I'm such a sick freak that I'd have to undergo this to be normal... whatever the hell that is anyway.

So weird though, because when I was in high school, all the guys seemed into it. Tickling a cute girl in the hall or in class (once in awhile, that is) was just normal. Nothing weird about it.

Yeah, you can tell I'm from Michigan, can't you?

You don't have to feel awful about it. While change comes with a lil bit of effort some changes are for the better. And some cults (including Nordicism the cult I've adhered to) constantly meditate for different reasons, either to shape some aspects of personality that they dont like or to spiritually advance themselves, relax etc. Like nobody gets born with a perfect athletic body but can gain such a body through fitness, so does not anyone get born with a perfect spirit but can reshape it through meditation.
If you do want to meditate you can do it this way.
First sit down in a comfortable position or lie down (but be careful not to fall asleep if you lie down) close your eyes and start breathing on a six measure. Draw breath for a count of six, hold breath for a count of six and release air for a count of six. As you do this you will become more and more relaxed. Best time to do this is in the morning, just after you wake up, because at that time your brain is fresh and your body is well rested. Before you begin the actual meditation you first need to put your body into a great level of relaxation (otherwise you will not achieve alpha mind level, a light trance). To relax your body concentrate your sense of awareness on different parts of your body and relax them. First concentrate on the scalp, relieve all tension and put it into a deep state of relaxation. Continue to do so with your eyelids, cheeks, neck outside and inside, shoulders, arms, forearms, hands, chest (outside and inside), belly (outside and inside, feeling the organs working in a rhythmic healthy manner), legs, knees calves and feet. One at a time, going from top to bottom you put each bit of your body into a deep state of relaxation. Now you are at the threshold between beta (aware) and alpha (light trance) levels. It is very important at this point not to get enraged, disturbed by noises or open your eyes because if you do so you'll have to start over. Now starting from bottom to top you start releasing the weight of your body parts up to the point you feel yourself weightless like you would be made of mist and start feeling yourself slowly floating down within a dark place. The falling effect combined with deep physical relaxation will help you enter a trance, first alpha level, if you go deeper theta and if you try to go even deeper you may even reach delta, the dreamless state, the state in which adepts communicate with gods in a wordless way (although I dont advise you to go as deep as delta in the beginning). You can also count down from 20 to 1, suggesting you go deeper and deeper with each count and reminding yourself each five counts that at the count of one you enter a deeper state of mind (from beta to alpha and from alpha to theta if you wanna go as deep as theta).Once you enter a trance visualize yourself either within an empty place or within an environment that you enjoy and find peaceful and relaxing. Now visualize symbols of tickling, what you most associate with tickling, and you can visualize things that you associate with other fetishes if you do have other fetishes that you want removed. Now visualize all this symbols being put into an unbreakable box, being locked tightly within the box and sealed. The visualize the box being set on fire until all that remain of it and it's fetish contents is just a pile of ash, then visualize the wind blowing the ashes out of your sight. Now say in a calm but firm voice (while you are still within the trance) my tickling fetish is no longer part of me. I am rid of it. It does not come back to bother me unless I decide so (as the oriental teaching say, during meditation it's important to keep all thing present, making all affirmations in the present, not in the past and not in the future. If affirmations are made in the past like "have been" or in the future "will be" they may have no effect). Now visualize different vanilla sex scenes and affirm "Normal sex is what turns me on. The sight of tits, pussies and asses (and anything else you may want to turn you on) fills me with sexual lust, giving me the strongest erection and my orgasms are very intense".Also you may plant other more socially accepted fetishes if you really want a fetish like spanking (I never heard anyone having a problem with spanking).Oh and be sure to plant strong turn-ons from receiving a blow-job or licking a pussy as this things are modern and not only socially accepted, but even promoted by porn industry. After you did it all it's time to bring yourself out of the trance. Slowly count down from 10 to 1 saying this "I begin counting down from 10 to 1. When I reach number 1 I am right awake feeling fine and in perfect health, feeling better then before and this is so." Now start counting down. When you reach number 5 say again "at numer one I am right awake, feeling fine and in perfect health feeling better then before and this is so." Continue counting down to three and when you reach number three remind yourself again what will happen when you reach number one. Now when you reach number one say "I am right awake feeling fine and in perfect health, feeling better then before, no dizziness, no buzzing in my ears, no sleepiness, no foggy eyesight, no stiff muscles, just the good feeling of being relaxed like after a good relaxing nap." When you do that you will wake up. Now move your limbs, flex your muscles, get up and walk for a few minutes. This should remove the neural path that links the tickling with sex and in the unlikely event it doesn't happen from the first time be persistent and try it a few times, it will eventually fade away. It's important not to look at tickling videos if you're not sure the neural path was removed because they may restore it if it's not completely gone.
That's about it. Hope it helps.

No, I would never do anything to remove such a wonderful fetish as tickling!

Playing with a lady's beautiful pair of feet is fun for everyone involved.

No. It is a part of who I am, and I am not about to change who I am.

Certainly not, Its a big part of my life, stuff the accepted vanilla fetishs, convention is boring bring on the wicked and naughty.

If your born with a fetish being without it would be strange, but i guess it would depend on what it was, certainly wouldn't want to alter my tickling fetish, or the bondage. jury is out on the bi situation, but i think moving closer to lesbianism would be the trend, for me.

Absolutely not. I like my erotic interests just the way they are now.

I,m in university on an athletic scholarship, I need to keep good grades and I play in a band when I can, which isn,t very often after our season begins. We {the Hockey team}, get too much attention because it is such a huge sport here, so yeah, I,d drink the potion in a heartbeat as it would be one less problem to worry about. It,s not like I have had the chance to indulge in or enjoy my fetish anyway and this certainly is not the right time or place to start experimenting. Any spare time that I do have comes at a premium and I use it either for writing, practicing guitar or on here visiting with people that I,ll probably never have the opportunity to meet face to face but from whom I,m still searching for some enlightenment. I don,t know about Europe or the rest of the world but I do know that here this fetish is hardly acknowledged except in Psychiatry and you know what that means. We are viewed as sick, demented, twisted. weird or any other negative adjective that we can be labeled with. I have an aquaintance that I met though friends who knew of his fetish and they used some rather unflattering and colorful terminology to discribe him. On several occasions I questioned him about it in private but never told him that I shared the very same fetish. He also admitted to me that he had been placed in a mental vacility briefly after his parents had him referred to a Psychiatrist due to this, the Psychiatrist believed him to be mentally ill because he had an abnormal fixation on feet and required treatment for this abnormality. I hide it, no one knows, not even ex-girlfriends or the women that I date presently although it takes a tremendous amount of self restraint and determination. I can,t take the chance, not in my current situation and perhaps not in the foreseeable future. If some of you have found someone to share and enjoy your fetish with you, then consider yourselves to be very fortunate indeed, but for the rest of us it isn,t the same. Whether we like it or not, we are not looked upon as normal, whatever normal is? That is fact. I come here because I feel safe and I am able to speak with others who share some of the same feelings and perhaps unburdon myself if only for a short period of time but I rarely discuss it here either. We are in the minority, seldomly accepted and often ridiculed and I have witnessed this, so yes, if the potion had no side effects I would definitly drink it.

Now that's totally true. Nothing but problems for most tickle-lovers, advantages for only a handful of really fortunate people, people "born with a star on the forehead" (popular wisdom meaning one person has an ungodly amount of luck), and all in all nothing good for the average mortal. But it's not incurable though. As I said before, you could do some mediation by yourself or a sexual psychologist could put you under hypnosis and remove this fetish from your subconsciousness. Oh, and by the way I'm glad I finally met someone who understands the grief and anger I felt so much time.

I do practice meditation and I work out on a daily basis. When I do date I try to make sure that there is at least one other couple with us as I do not want to do anything which I may regret or for someone to hold over me. There is too much at stake.

... There's a common term that is used all over the internet, and I believe it applies here perfectly.

WTF?

For me it's kind of like if someone asked if you wanted to stop being black. Would you get rid of a part of you that you know you shouldn't be ashamed about because it is causing you inconvenience? I do not blame people who wish that there was an easy way out, but one should realize that it is not the right thing to do.

WTF indeed. WTF is fucking wrong with us , people having fetishes??? Really weird fetishes I might add. That doctor was as right as he could get. Now that I have a psychiatrist's approval I'm sure as Hell how fucking wrong I was trying to embrace it. I mean if a commoner tells you "You dont look good, you are ill, go see a doctor" you can ignore it, but if a doctor tells you "You're ill and should get some treatment, otherwise you shall die" then it's totally different.

If you don't mind my asking then, Warlock, what are you doing here if it's no longer something you're into? Is your purpose here solely the offer of rehabilitative services?

It is the right thing to do. If a psychiatrist says a person with tickling fetish is mentally wrong (read Rifleman's post) then it means they are mentally wrong. If you want to stop being black you can by undergoing a pigment removal dermatological treatment. And even if it was not the right thing to do there is everyone's life and everyone's right to do as they please with it, to live how they want, to look like they want, to do what they like, to be like they want, to act like they like, be happy with their freedom to shape their destinies and above all to have free will (not having something programmed in their subconsciousness and having no way out, because in this case they are slaves, and slavery is wrong). After all nothing is true, everything is permitted, nothing is absolute, everything is possible.

... Warlock, don't use what I say in a completely different context. It's rude. You know I was stating 'WTF' to an extract from rifleman's comment. >_>

Seriously people, fetishes are not wrong. They're only wrong when they're used as an excuse to harm others (mentally, emotionally or physically). The people who blame their fetish for the pitiful life they believe they have are cowards. We all have the same fetish here, every single one of us, so we've all been through the same shit. But why is it not everyone on this forum is a miserable git? It's because those people don't sit around whining about why their turn on isn't as vanilla as everyone elses. They get out there and do something other than dreaming up ways to rid themselves of this fetish. Fixating yourself on the fetish will only depress you further.

Doctors who believe having a foot fetish is a type of illness should have their license removed and admitted for psychiatrical help themselves. It's not an illness, it's influence and genetics. It's natural! End of story.

Warlock, I've only ever seen you complain about how your tickle fetish has inconvenienced you in your life... if you're so hellbent on finding a way to change your fetish, why don't you start doing something about it. Or better yet, get out there and explore your sexuality a bit more. It's rarely the case where your one fetish is the only thing that turns you on. I have a tickle fetish, and yes it has been an inconvenience in some ways, but I didn't sit around and cry about it. I got out there, explored and found someone I truly love who truly loves me back. I live a happy life now because I got out there and did something. You're only making your life worse spreading the hatred for our fetish.

Everybody has that ONE kink. Be it tickling, spanking, school-girl fantasy, ect. The question is do you embrace it as a part of who you are, or do you stifle and repress it in order to fit in with the vanilla world?

Even the most sexually repressed prudes also have a fantasy, as well. They just feel that it's 'naughty' so they just pack in up in a dark corner of their mind, hoping that nobody else finds out.

And is that really any way to live?

And while we're on the subject of doctors and therapy, who gets to define what is 'normal' or not? Some old dude in a lab coat, somewhere?

Instant bromance, dude. You rock.

In all fairness, 7 of the 8 voices in my head agree that I'm not normal. The eighth one answered "TAPIOCA!" when asked if I was normal. I think that meant "abstain", but badly, badly misspelled.

hahahaha..ok people this is getting into way too deep of waters now.

I,m not saying that I agree with that particular Psychiatrist,s diagnosis I,m sure that another Psychiatrist may have had a completely different opinion, you couldn,t get two Doctors to agree on anything as they all think that they hold the answer. What I am saying is that the majority of people don,t understand and don,t seem to want to try, they lable us as being weird and leave it at that. It may take quite some time before we are ever accepted by society. If there was a potion, I would use it, but there isn,t so I will accept that I have this fetish and learn to live with it. As long as we are not harming anyone then who does it hurt, we should be ok with it whether the general population understands us or not.

Rifleman, that's fair enough. I do know... sorry, we do know the inconveniences this fetish has on our life, particularly our love lives. It makes us more self-concious and sexually aware and therefore it makes us feel sexually awkward. But the thing is the whole 'foot fetishism is weird' idea is over-exaggerated. It truly is. I would even go as far as saying that the majority of the women I know well in my life are ok with a thing for feet. More so than not. You can search places on the internet where this issue has been raised and you'll find that you'll get a lot of positive responses. But the thing women want is a compromise. They may not have the same kinks as we do but if you're willing to experiment in your partners kinks then she'll be fine experimenting in your kinks.

The anti-foot fetishism only really arises when something is brought to the media's attention which involves foot fetishism being put into a bad light. That's when people get anti-foot. But those situations, which admittedly do happen, are few and far between. If you find someone you love who also loves you back and you are honest from the start, then she won't be freaked out. She'll be inquisitive and unsure at first, but if she truly loves you then she'll atleast give it a try (within reason). And once you experiment, you may be surprised with what you find. You might even find some vanilla kinks that you're unaware of. 🙂

The reason I lashed out against Warlock is because I don't approve of what he's doing. I'm not the kind of person who would openly single out and attack textually over the internet, but there's something Warlock is, and always has been, doing for a long time now which really grinds my gears. And that's trying to spread his hate message against the tickle fetish itself and making everyone else feel bad about themselves in the process. We are a community of a minority fetish and the last thing we need is someone who can relate to the same pains that we've all experienced and making us feel worse about it. It's not helpful, it's not productive and it's not needed here.

Warlock, I'm sorry for lashing out at you like this, but what you've been doing really isn't doing any good to yourself or anyone. If you really do want to rid yourself of this fetish so badly, stop whining and do something about it. Just don't bring anyone else down with you.
