Same here but I love simple foods so it's not a big deal. Grilled chicken, salad, trail mix, watermelon, etc.

One of the reasons that I like cold cuts so much (sliced ham, salami, corned beef, pastrami) is that they are ready to eat. All you need is bread and mustard. :munch:

This might offend you but I do not eat mustard 🙂.

That doesn't offend me. Feel free to use ketchup or other condiments instead of mustard. I never argue with taste.

I love ketchup. I'm picky. Like I won't eat mayo, mustard, eggplant, mushrooms, spinach, hot dogs and other foods.

I'm not into some fruits. I used to like kiwi but lost my taste for it. Friday...woohoo.

I am ready for the weekend. And we can see 60 degree temps again!

The normal high around Thanksgiving is close to 50 degrees so yes 60 degrees in the 2nd half of November is a welcome thing.

I remember that well. It was a few days before Halloween. And on Halloween night kids were trick or treating in their costumes on my block while having a snowball fight. It was so surreal lol. I also remember several years ago Thanksgiving Day was FREEZING cold like the high temperature was in the upper 20s and with the wind it felt like the teens all day. It was colder that day than almost any day in the following winter. I also remember Christmas Eve one year being 70 degrees and I did everything in my willpower not to take out my shorts because it just wouldn't feel like Christmas wearing shorts.

Yes, unseasonably warm days and unseasonably cold days are not so rare after all.

I'm looking forward to next weekend. My brother is coming from San Diego and I'm going to begin my Christmas shopping online. And have some errands and we're going to brunch with my uncles and siblings Sunday. Oh and probably putting up my Christmas decorations. A lot to do close to home.

It should be exciting to see your brother who lives so far away. And that brunch sounds like a fine occasion, too.

Yes I know you are looking forward to your annual Thanksgiving trip even if it's a different location.

I do my traditional bring in breakfast to work on Thanksgiving Eve in 1 week and we leave early like mid-day.

Yeah I'll be off early afternoon Wednesday through Sunday obviously for Thanksgiving.
I know you will be getting ready for your flight next Wednesday.
