Hey ^^ I'm currently working with rpgmaker Vx ace also... Where do you get your portraits >.<... I can't seem to find any like yours.
 
Monster Girl Encyclopedia. But i'm going to be replacing them by the time this game is finished.
 
Gentlemen. We have a problem. Good news is that after contacting them, some of our Japanese neighbors have agreed to help translate this game to Japanese. The problem however is that the current images I am using might be copyrighted.

Now I was going to replace these images anyway as they are placeholders and will not be in the final version but if I want to make a Japanese version of this game, I need those current monster images replaced with original ones. Now Bashiku is already under pressure from my current drawings so I am requesting anyone who could help me with making original pictures of the monster girls I am using right now.

And let's face it, we owe it to these guys for their tickle games. I feel I owe them a translation of one of our games. So if anyone could lend a hand and possibly make good original portraits of each of the current monster girls, I would be much in your debt. And so would the Japanese tickling community too.

EDIT: After the Water boss is done, Bashiku will work on replacing the forest monster girls with original art of them. After that, he's off the project and onto other work. So i'll need a new artist.

Artistic abilities or talent have 0% in this. It's all about effort, time and how much can your stomach handle energy drinks before you break...
 
Dude. Don't drink too much energy drink. That can't be good for you, especially with all the pressure you're getting.

I'm considering adding a 4th class. A summoner with low magic power but high defense and magic defense. Or even a class that uses all of the classes powers but with low stats and random skill gain after beating a mini-boss/boss.
 
I don't. I compensate for energy drinks with sugar... and woolen socks... and music...
 
Right.

Anyway, i'm adding those 2 new classes.

Summoner: Can summon creatures to attack and shares Mage's magic skills. Creatures disappear after attacking. They do not join your party. Summoner has low magic attack but high defense and magic defense.
Starting Skill: Summon Wolf

All-Range: Can use all skills and weapons/armor that the other classes can. However, its skills are balanced and have a slow build when leveling up.
You will get a random skill after beating a mini-boss/boss. There is no choice for normal or tickling. (1 in 8 chance)

I will have you guys test these out soon for balancing.

EDIT: You will only earn new summoning skills from mini-boss/boss fights.

Episode 1 version 2 up. Now with 2 new classes, text changes and small game fixes.

I just added a hardcore mode to my game. That will disable saving.

I don't have the money for them right now but i'm looking to get some resource packs
for my VX Ace off the official website. Stuff like the RPG Maker DS package and the Futuristic package. Also music from RPG maker 3. More music and battle themes would be good.

I already have the modern day pack and I
can get the add-on for it which is cheap.

I want these packs because i'm planning something different after this game.

I didn't realise you could get DLC packs for it.... I'll have to have a look now myself!
 
Bashiku hasn't gotten back to me yet so it's obvious he's very busy right now. I'll definitely need a new artist and it seems at this point i'll have to start spending some money in order to get something. Which sucks seeing as my budget isn't exactly flexible.

Woah, woah there. What's going on that requires you to spend some money now? Are you looking for art assets? Sprites? Sounds?
 
I'm fine with sprites at the moment. I need battle artwork for monster girls.
Stuff not ripped from the internet save for a couple that are free to use.

Define battle artwork. You mean the stills, right? What's wrong with, seeing as how this is your first game, ripping files from online sources? There are many talented artists out there who have made many of the monsters that you'd need.

There's also probably artists in the tickle community that wouldn't mind doing some stuff for free. All you'd need to do is credit them. It helps spread their name around, which all artists like (and need).
 
Yes, the stills in battle. And I plan to credit anyway. Also i've said this before but I want to steer away from ripping pictures online this time save for the ones that can be used freely in RPG Maker projects. Half the reason being I have a Engligh-Japanese translation in the works as well.

Just a note about my game. Nothing's happened yet but hopefully it will in the next month and even then I cannot guarantee that. What can I can guarantee is that all the enemy images will be replaced with new original ones. I've found an artist who will be making the images and even suggested reaction images for a couple of them (that being the mini-boss and the boss. I'd have it for all of the enemies but I can't stretch my budget too far. Maybe later.).

Once this artist is done with a bunch of commissions, he's going to move onto mine. I have a job now so that can cover the costs. I'll be replacing the ogre with a catwoman too since I find that to be a better fit. Once he's done with the images, i'll release a version that has these new images in them. I wonder if you can tell who the artist is just by looking at them? 😉

For now, i'm keeping the artist's identity a secret. I'll fill you in on details later. Hopefully it won't be much longer.

Also it was my birthday a couple of days ago so yay!

Don't fret on the game, take as much time as you need. As I've learned, the forumgoers here are veerrryyy nice and have a good bit of patience (thank heavens).

Good job, btw, on getting some custom images made. Sorry to hear it's coming out of your pocket though 🙁 But, hey, if you're really passionate about something then cost isn't an issue (or something like that).

I'll be looking forward to the continuation of the ticklish android saga!
