Whatchu playing?

You might want a brief synopsis of the other games. I went into the game blind and a lot of names and terms and kingdom names were thrown about like wildfire and I'd nod my head going "Yes, indeed, quite."

Like players will turn up and you'll have always known them. "Ahh, my old friend!" While it doesn't detract from my enjoyment of the game, I can see how it'd be off putting for someone else.

as always League of Legends . finally I ended Dark Souls (was a challenge, I won't do anymore -.-), Heroes of the storm, and now pillars of eternity!

Aww man. I should try League again but I think HoTs might have spoiled me. I like my quicker games.

I picked up DMC4: Special Edition the other day and played as Vergil, my husbando. And.. Haven't touched the other characters yet because I'm playing as mother fucking Vergil, my husbando hunk. <3

Here's a question for all you current gamers. Senshi and I really like the look of Witcher III, and we just got a PS4 last week and are looking to expand our library (already got Arkham Knight and are FINALLY playing Second Son). We have never played a Witcher game before-how important is prior knowledge to the story line? I always wind up watching these like a movie and don't wanna be lost :lol Do we need to look up a summary? Thanks guys!

~K

The Witcher 3 is worth getting, You don't have to bother playing the previous two unless you really want to. The story remains accessible either way, prior knowledge isn't important.

I'd wait till it goes down in price then get Witcher, still waiting to get it on steam lol, I got too many games on there

I've been going through a lot of DS games that I missed. Mostly time-travel/mystery solving games like Ghost Trick, Time Hollow, Hotel Dusk, with a few rpgs like Chrono Trigger, Fire Emblem, and SMT Devil Survivor. Also replaying inFamous for 7th time.

Oh man, Hotel Dusk was one of my favorites. I completely forgot it existed.

I only played it for a few minutes so far (I'm playing on an emulator and I just wanted to see if I could get it rotated correctly) so I haven't really seen much than the opening cutscenes.

Ahh, good ol' Chrono Trigger. Deserves a playthrough at least once a year. :cool

Been playing Morrowind for the last few weeks after installing a shitton of mods. Bout to start up something else. Thinking of going back and playing Nier since I never got all of the endings.

Still playing the crap out of Dead or Alive 5. Some things never change.

I was stuck between getting Diablo III for the PS4 and DMC-I went with DMC and started playing yesterday-I LOVE it. I only stopped cuz my hands hurt :lol I don't usually play games myself, but the combat is simple yet engrossing and the storyline is RIGHT Up my ally, if you've ever read my OC stories you know xD I never played the Devil May Cry games before, so the alt reality type telling doesn't affect me ^_^

I hope my insight helped with your decision Karen 😛

I just finished with my Diablo III seasonal achievements for the time being, going to take a break until the next update, might play a different class something other than witch doctor. =O

Your input was definitely appreciated x) And yeah it's not like I'm not going to -get- Diablo--I have it on PS3 and love it, the new class and different loot is enough to bag it as a sure thing for me when I get the cash! I played my Monk to death, but I still will probably go back to it >_>;

Fallout 4: Ultimate GOTY DLC Collectors E3 Edition :cool

The REAL question is, why aren't you?

I can't wait for Fallout 4, but I probably will wait for the GotY edition - Bethesda's games don't have the best track record on release day, plus the DLC gets really pricey - waiting a year for the re-release seems to be the best option, assuming it's a game you CAN wait for.

But as someone with an obsession for creepy old abandoned places, the Fallout games are like a big beige wet dream for me.

I would join you in TF2, if I had internet access at my apartment. I did just start the Mass Effect games though, so that'll keep me busy for awhile.

I understand this completely.

Come on tech! WE NEED FULL IMMERSION GAMING!!!1!!!111!!

But yea. Also the weapon mods are back.
And so is ADS I hope.

Currently bouncing between GTA5 and SKULLGIRLS!

Anyone here play Skullgirls? It's a 2D fighter available on the PSN (and probably XBox live). The very latest version is very reasonably priced at $25 US. Has the best tutorial in all of 2D fighting games to my knowledge. I realise I sound like an advertisment, but anyone with a passing interest in fighting games should definitely consider checking this out. Though the roster is modest at about 14 characters, I actually enjoy playing 5 or 6 of them (Big Band!). Oh, and it has about the nicest looking hand-drawn sprite art in any fighter.

Sorry for the long post. Though I'm definitely a fighting game amateur, they're still one of my obsessions, and I could talk all day about them.

Street Fighter 5? Fallout 4?? I must've been in a coma or something. :blink

Kidding, I knew there was a Beta of SF5. Sorry it doesn't work, though - that must be frustrating. >_< I do like Street Fighter a lot (I main Cammy), but I'm probably going to wait for the updated version this time.

Still playing Skullgirls, although now I'm going to have a change of pace and play Doom 2, which I picked up for the irresistable price of $1.69. My ten year old self would have shit his pants if he could see me buying the full Doom 2 for the price of a coke - he remembers spending twenty quid (about $30-35) on the PS1 port of Final Doom.

Remember that old popcap game, Peggle? Yeah, Peggle 2 got a PS4 port.I've been, playing that a lot .//_//.
