Okay, I honestly can't figure out the kitsune spirit boss. I know I'm colorblind, but I'm not THAT colorblind. There are no color differentiations between shift changes. If there used to be, there aren't now. It's a yellow glow, then a white one, then the.. arcane stone object looking thing. And also there are numbers that keep popping up. I cannot for the life of me figure out whatever advanced algorithm is supposed to be the secret pattern here.

As for the flashes, give me a second to look.

i just tested it, the last flash is the hint to what shield she's using. if it's really that hard to differentiate between red, blue, green and yellow, which i'll admit i didn't consider color-blind folks >_<

give me two minutes, i'll change it.

It might simply be that the white looking flash doesn't last long enough for me to register what color it's supposed to be. And honestly, I've never had this kind of issue with colors before now. Ever. So it might not be the colorblindness.

that's fair, it's only 10 frames which is 1/6th of a second. okay, so i'll double the length of the flash and we'll see if that works?

done! should be much easier to see now. i also gave an image to the barrier, same rule applies, just use the element that matches the color of the barrier state.

ugh, nevermind the plugin i thought would fix it doesn't seem to help. it actually makes it impossible to play the game at all for me. darn, sorry T^T

:T it had to have been something in the 1.1.0 update. i could always include the plugin with the fix automatically turned on, but the problem with that is if anyone turns it off, it renders the game unplayable, at least it does for me. i'd rather not risk having that kind of option available....

So a new bug appeared when you updated. I was playing Warrior class, low health after the first fight so I use a breadroll item to heal afterwards. The next battle, I still have low health and suddenly have the status effect with the grey crossbones image. Also some of the game overs and rewards dialogue in chapter 1 have typos in them.

you have Bleeding Lvl 3 inflicted on you. bleeding doesn't go away after fights, so you need to use a healing salve to get rid of it, or the Iron Will ability.

what likely happened was, by walking around, your bleeding got worse. bleeding lvl 1 becomes bleeding lvl 2 after 50 steps, which becomes bleeding lvl 3 after 75 steps. bleeding lvl 3 WILL go away after 100 steps, but it reduces your defense by 40% and hurts you for 18% of your max health per turn, so getting those 100 steps will be next to impossible. just use Iron Will or a healing salve.

I get a failed to load audio something something error every now and then at the title screen. Its not consistent, dunno if you're messing with the live version since this is close to your last post, just letting you know. Time to check out all the glorious new stuff! 😀

yup, just find the footprints in the forest, follow them and they'll lead you to her. she's inaccessible until then ^_^ i just did this myself, so it SHOULD (with a capital S) be working.

the first set of prints is in the bottom left corner of the map where you find the little girl for Hide n Seek in the last round.

You did lie, that Kitsune, to me, has the best scenes in the game. :stickout Sweet Aunt Jemima that new scene was glorious! You just keep doing better and better, great stuff! :lol

Chapter 1 - First Full Release

it's time!

here's to the first full release of chapter 1. this does not yet include the HARDCORE quest, because that quest will feature an entirely new map, new puzzles, newish enemies, and a brand new boss that will test your patience and your attention to detail ^_^

however, i'm proud to say chapter 1 is in a stable enough condition for some downloads!

to begin chapter 1, get the note from foster and follow the "Dress for Success" quest. after, just talk to Guinness at the guild post to begin the new quest.

Tiny bug that somehow no one has mentioned yet: after finishing the chapter by talking to captain morrigan, foster will call you for the dress quest again. I've updated all locations. Mac users, sorry, you have to redownload.

PC users, download this folder, unzip it, copy the folder labeled "Data" go in to WWW and paste the folder. When it asks you to replace SAY YES. this will overwrite the lazy code i used before and you'll be good as gold. if you get the quest start, don't talk to bacardi. just wait, i'll add a fix with the hardcore quest that will remove that quest.

Edit: apparently the bug was made worse, i've got a fix that i've tested thoroughly being uploaded now. for anyone who has downloaded the pc version, it's fine! you'll just need to download a new bug fix.

I like the idea of the Dress Card as being similar to the Experience Orb from Valkyrie Profile. I don't like the exp from soul eggs as much, since they're pretty rare and giving X% of a normal trash mob's exp won't make much impact. And to make them have a meaningful impact on exp, you might need to mess with their rarity, which could make them into spammy drops (bad) or make you spam turn-ins at the guild (worse).

Would be neat if we had a way to choose how much of our EXP gets absorbed in the Dress Card, so we could just use our best class to "power level" our other classes and catch up.

I have a new bug to report in the google drive version, dunno if others get it too though, maybe I just saved in unlucky spot.

Anyway, whenever I exit Angela's room(I saved there...) I get the dress card quest first line, and then I get it again, and again, and again, and again... and I have to refresh the page. There seems to be no way to avoid that...

.-. yeah i ran into that myself, i mentioned it in my last post. it's been corrected in every version. i just need to add a quick fix to the drive version to break the loop. one second.

apparently i'm retarded and it's not fix and is now worse...oops.

now it's fixed, off to update my downloads again T________T

long story short it was a lazy decision i made to ensure the story would advance for people who have been playing as i update it. i forgot to put a security measure on Foster to ensure he didn't keep permanently restarting the "Dressed for Success" quest. my fix last night was on painkiller fueled tiredness and i forgot to test it T_T

the drive version, just loading the game again should fix it. Foster gets an entirely new event page once the Dress Quest has been started which will invalidate that autorun call.

Don't worry, as I already mentioned, you are working solo on that game so some things like that are bound to happen! What's important is that you read our messages and fix them as they are found.

That said... I LOVE kitsune tickling scene! Angie is not as innocent as she might have seemed at first XD
And she definitely likes seeing(And not only seeing...) nice pretty feet, which I definitely relate to! 😀
I certainly hope for more awesome scenes like that! I can always come up with some ideas if necessary!

Also she knows one person who can keep her feet steady while tickled... I will take a wild guess, and say she means Ren there XD
