Who Hunts Monsters [MV]

Whew... Managed to beat Titania despite being underprepared a bit(Only level 4, and 2 of each colored potion XD) https://gyazo.com/0eb71a8fc8f1febdf697144b80744720
Took me a few tries though, most annoying was fighting with her guardians all at once. Titania herself however didn't cause me much problems XD

Also I see many references there to Angela's some kind of unfinished business(Saying that she agreed to be tickled by monster girl and it didn't work out... or saying she can't stay because she has something to do, even though she joined hunters almost by accident XD)... which I suspect has something to do with Ren!

Edit: Oh, and LOVED Titania tickling scenes, as well as the two last fairies(I know one of them was breasts focused... but scene was still pretty hot!). You can add Titania scenes to the ones I would be happy to see drawn 😀

i'm gonna bite the bullet and go ahead and post these for download. This includes all the fixes from the previous three pages, along with a few last minute balance tweaks i've done.

what did you think?? did you enjoy it, or was it boring, or too hard?

also anyone at all who has seen the new animations, do you like them? i spent a whole afternoon redoing them >_< so i hope they're good.

Regarding map lag on the browser versions...there's just no way for me to fix this. I have tried everything, but it just seems like slightly larger maps lag. i'm still looking into a fix and will implement one as soon as i find it.

This quest was AWESOME! Great job! I do have one thing I noticed that made everything very easy, not sure if it is intended because of the ease it allowed, you can stack the TP bar waaaaaaaay past the "max" indicated by the bar. I think I got it up to about 70 TP at one point. So you can basically just go to sugarheart pass and stack seemingly infinite TP and then go do whatever boss you want, just spamming abilities. This doesn't do anything for people relying on MP, but if you have a dmg skill that only requires TP, this is infinite skill spamming.

it's going to be a pretty long time before Chapter 2 is ready, i'm doing a lot of experimenting and trying to keep things nice and fresh. my plan is to use my deviantart page to post developer notes, general musings, teaser screenshots, polls, open discussion all around to try to help with the development of the game.

also T_T my artist from before fell through, it's not her fault she got a new job and now she's too busy. so i'm currently propositioning another artist to possibly do profile images for Angela, Ren, and Kusuri to use in game and to use as reference for future scene commissions and such.

so yeah, watch me if you'd like, i don't want to flood this thread with just me posting random stuff rather than updates.

oh boogers, i'll find a way to fix that...easiest way will just be removing the Preserve TP tag so you don't save TP between fights.
 
Ok, I can't beat Titania. Her guardians are not an issue for me at all, but she keeps getting me with that damn Queen's Glory spell. Could someone PM me with a strategy to beat her?
 
I must be misunderstanding because I'm placing the new folder in the www folder and I'm not seeing any new on the bounty board. I've also saved over the www folder which didn't work either.

Can't beat the second form of the kitsune. On the plus side, it has a great game over scene.

And darn those bats.

Only the wizard can beat the kitsune's second form. When the kitsune uses Shift Change, the color of the icon above her will change. Use the elemental spell that corresponds with that color.
 
Bit of a random question, but what's the new song that the piano man learns at the inn starting the first chapter?

I'm rather fond of it. Is it just included with MV? It sounds familiar but I can't place it.

Well shit. I had known that wizard was the recommended class, which is why I was confused that the spells I randomly threw did 0 damage.

That dang blasted, sunfire, final flash, blinding one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......sorry.....I ended up obliterating, annihilating, and destroying the fire one first. Her dmg is nuts and she can blind you, making your dmg suck. Basically I killed the dps first, then the DoT user, then the healer, then the buffer, and then the tank last 😛
 
I went heals -> blind -> dot -> tank. So it looks like there's more than one way to do it.

Solis is definitely high priority, because the blind locks you out of attacking very often. I just didn't think I could burst her down with Stella's heal interfering.
 
I tried doing the heals first but with that chick blinding me I didn't have the dmg to kill her. Honestly the heals aren't that much, its mainly just an aoe hp regen, but since we are single target dps its not very effective healing I learned.
 
Venom -> Sucker -> Cover x2 -> Venom -> Sucker (or something like that) will kill Stella. The first cover is dropping blind, the second cover was waiting for a lapse in antitoxin or the shield.

I'm not sure how Stella's wish ability works. I thought there might be some kind of ability she has that makes the target of the buff recover HP when being hit, so the hits have to count or else there's a net HP recovery. I could be wrong.

Stella's Hope works exactly like wish in pokemon, the next turn the target will recover 25% of their maximum hp .-.
